@GadaAzura PS1 isn't actually that fast, the DS is faster, but with all the weird sound and graphic devices of ps1, you are right, it can't be emulated.

@Skullworld i thought the same thing too. might as well just let the psp keep its snes emulators, and put the ds to good use. i was fortunate enough to find out (recently) that anyone can just download virtually any available ds rom and play it right on the ds. as soon as i found out i found the cheapest ds i can find in my neighborhood and started downloading almost 40+ games that night :D

Yes you do. Older games (GBA, GBC, SNES) require ram to play. The NDS doesn't have it's own source of ram. They sell the EZ Flash 3 in 1 pack on dealextreme

I fixed it. They just needed to be in a folder entitled SNES. So now the roms show up, I get audio but no video. It could be the specific games themself. I was trying to play some games with pretty high-end graphics for an SNES.

A bit shaky, for example in the very first level when you hit the block with the Mushroom, you see the Mushroom in the block coming out of it, same with the Fire Piranha in the pipes, you see them in the pipe right before they get out. The status bar is also a bit messed up.

Snes games play really crappy on DS though, specially AllStars. Super Mario 3 in AllStars is glitchy. Not really fun to play.

You're better off getting a GBA flashcard with SMB Advance 4

@Chingoman: Allstars? It runs fine. The only thing I've found to be 'glitchy' would be the sprites on the world map are sometimes transparent.

One more thing, the save states don't work with any of the games now. They auto freeze them. I have no idea why.

I know why. You need to put both files (the .cfg or something and the .nds) in the root of your TF, then make a folder called SNES (just like that) and put all your ROMS there (without .zip or .rar)
