Whether or not one supports the troops, they are out there defending your right to disagree. I am for the military, but I will not fight with one who isn't, their opinion, though I disagree with it, is just as free as my own. Knowing good and well not everyone in my Country is for the military, I know I still want to join the Marine Corps and defend their freedom like everyone else's.

Well it depends on your MOS (military job) every one gets 10 days of boot leave before shipping out to MCT (Marine combat training) for a month. After that you will go to your MOS school to learn your specific job, and skills required. Then you will be stationed where ever they decide the corps needs you more. Could be anywhere..but like I said it depends on your MOS.
when the women drill instructor was talking to the girls about going into combat, the thing is women arent allowed into infantry so the possibilities of them ever bieng in combat are like 1 in 100,000

@thekinfo23 If you are just 15 I would recommend joining the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Sea cadets provides discipline and also if you are in that program and enlist in the USMC then once you finish basic training you are promoted to the rank of E-2. Just google it to see if there is a division near you.

Go into a local recruiting office and talk to the Marines there. They should be able to get you hooked up. I know of a few people who I went to recruit training with, who were from different countries.
28 is the oldest you can be to go into the Marine Corps. I had an individual in my platoon who was about to turn 28 when he went to sign up. They did all of his paperwork and medical screening as fast as possible to get him in on time. Everyone in the platoon called him Moses. LMAO.

Go into a local recruiting office and talk to the Marines there. They should be able to get you hooked up. I know of a few people who I went to recruit training with, who were from different countries.

28 is the oldest you can be to go into the Marine Corps. I had an individual in my platoon who was about to turn 28 when he went to sign up. They did all of his paperwork and medical screening as fast as possible to get him in on time. Everyone in the platoon called him Moses. LMAO.

@TheRealRyan1000 Getting a Green is generally a long process, unless you have family or a spouse who are US citzens and can sponsor you. Go to a US embassy/consulate in England for advice.

To me, I was always interested in the military since my grandpa was in the ranks, when I joined JROTC it just boosted my motivation to become one of the few and proud, personally I can't wait to join the few, I know that it's not easy but as they said here

I've wanted to be a marine since I was a little girl. My uncle was one and he was stationed in Japan. I'm 16 right now and hope that when I turn 18 I could join the brave men and woman of the marine corp. I'm scared but if that's what a marine has to do, I have to do it. Pray for me so I make the right decision.

No disrespect, my brother and 4 other friends i consider family are in the marines, i'm not talking trash about them, but they all say that its horrible, and they hoenstly wish they could get out of it.
