I went to the dres rehersal Wednesday night. I am sure we didnt see everything and it was amazing. I am not an overwhelming supporter of the Olympics but it seems to be turning into a lot of fun. Iam looking forward ot all the free stuff downtown and the energy of the city than the sporting events. To all the nay sayers, just have a good time, youll have the rest of your life to complain. ENJOY IT! BTW the Cdn anthem was different but fine...at very least it gets people talking.

They are beautiful -except for a really major blight right at the beginning. They let the singer make her own interpretation of the National Anthem that nobody can understand or sing along with instead of making it our country's emblem it's supposed to be. It's like carrying the flag upside down or having the Mounties come out in fluorescent pink with green hats because somebody thought it was more artistic that way! Aaarrrrrggghhh!
