This I do know, that Heavenly Father has helped my husband and me prepare our son his whole life to serve a mission. He provided the way for our son, by protecting him so he could fulfill his stewardship as a missionary.
true enough, we add 2 counselors to quorums, Relief society, primary presidencies, bishops, stake presidents, can anyone say whether we add them for mission and temple presidents? but we tend to just add them in on a general basis.
Have any of the 12 apostles seen Jesus with their eyes? If they are to mimic the apostles of the new testament they would have to have seen him, otherwise they are just believers in Christ.
No. If we are followers of Christ then we are disciples, but an apostle has a few more requirements to it. I can explain further if you wish. Just message me.
@mzjose92 I view those who spread the Gospel as disciples of Christ. An Apostle is a special calling given to who the Lord wants to the calling upon. As in the New Testament, Christ chose his 12 apostles, so it is in these Latter-Days with the 12 Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint, they are are chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ and are his 12 apostles in these Latter-Days just the same when he was here on Earth. :)
This is great. I hope whoever made this will do an update now that Elder Worthlin has passed away and Elder Neil L Andersen has been called to fill the vacancy.
As stated in the info section to the right, they want to remain anonymous. However, I know it is 2 Seminary teachers, and they refer to themselves as "sons of ammon". Hope that helps! :)
My kids LOVE this video. I thought it was fun and delightful. I am glad there are individuals creative enough to come up with fun ways to learn the First Presidency and the Twelve Apostles.
Cute!

As listed in title, it is the First Presidency (President and 2 Counselors) & the 12 Apostles. ;-)
maidmarian4 2 years ago 2
Jesus did not have a first presidency. He had only 12 apostles.
The counselors are also apostles. So that is actually 14 apostles and one Prophet.
