every single draft okc has chosen proved to be successful. and thanks to their good choices they made the playoffs and they were a good match against the lakers.
Well in order to make it far in the playoffs to compete against a team like Denver or L.A. I still think they need a big man to go to down low. Who knows though, they might surprise everyone like the Rockets did last year against the lakers taking em to 7 games.
Well, the thing is that what people here in OKC are seeing is that Serge Ibaka could very well become that dominant big man of the future. If you watch highlights from the beginning of the season to now, he's improved drastically in his rookie season. He came off the bench yesterday and flat out shut down Tim Duncan. He is the center that Sam Presti and Scott Brooks are hoping will be that dominant big man. His talent, upside, and work ethic make that look good as well.
Well, the thing is that is what people here in OKC are hoping Serge Ibaka grows into. If you watch highlights from this rookie year he has shown all the upside, talent, and work ethic to get to that point. In fact just last night when he came in, he completely shut down Tim Duncan. Serge Ibaka is the dominant big man of the future they are developing.
