yes, it sucks, i got this on a moderate level but am using natural techniques and trying to avoid all loud noises altogether as far as i can and use earplugs when i cant. we weill get a cure one day hopefully. if you dont have this stay the heck away from loud clubs/bars concerts and old deaf peoples houses who turn up the tv/radio too loud and any loud machinery unless you have a good set of earplugs to use. even use um for the vacuum cleaner. having tinnitus/hyperacusis is worse than use plugs

I got tinnitus after playing a gig, drummer. It lasted for 5 horrific days and i really believe that was it, life fucked, my career as a musician would never be the same. but on the 6th day i woke up with it completely gone. I felt like a man who had jumped of a plane with no parachute and landed in the hot tub of the playboy mansion. Seriously, i went and got some ear plugs custom made at the hospital for £180. Completely worth it, never looked back since. Not stopped gigging since.
thats really good to hear. for me it took months and months and months for it to quiet down. it was so depressing. and its still here, but no where near as it was when i got it 2 years ago. it was sooo bad in the beginning. but now its at a good level where im chill about it.
Its good to hear you have fought it! I cant imagine what it must be like. Every single time im exposed to loud audio now i wear the custom plugs and they work every time without fail, i always carry them in my pockets with my wallet and phone, theyre that essential to me from now
yea you just gotta be careful. but you dont have to over worry. for me, i only wear ear plugs when im jamming w/ my band. and i never jam without earplugs, it is not worth it.
yes we're going crazy but we try to always think about something else and have another noise next to us. When i'm alone i try to breathe a certain way that it makes noise and all we have to do is accepting it, thinking that it is part of us............. (impossible)
tinnitus sucks monkey arse, i think i have slight tinnitus in my left ear and im only 16. so now whenever i play loud music or use lawnmowers etc i wear earplugs
I cant imagine how you guys with tinnitus feel. It sound like a nightmare that never ends. How do u deal with it. I would have gone crazy, a specially on the nights! :S

I think THEY have. THEY just make to much money from the drugs an Dr bills.
By the way we all care about these things too. We are not heartless.(My Mom died with cancer) We are just venting.I hope you do not have to ever deal with the ringing.

thats really good to hear. for me it took months and months and months for it to quiet down. it was so depressing. and its still here, but no where near as it was when i got it 2 years ago. it was sooo bad in the beginning. but now its at a good level where im chill about it.
