I am not a Red Wings fan myself, lived all my life until recently in Buffalo and the Sabres will always be my favorite team. That being said my favorite player alongside Patty LaFontaine has to be Steve Yzerman. One of the classiest and most humble atheletes I've ever seen. And one of the most complete hockey players ever, if not the most complete. How many injuries did this guy play with? Furthermore he never talked about this injuries. He just went about and did his business. Congrats Steve.
