This is my take on it. Night Wing is being all emo about being Batman, so everyone else is going to try being him and its soooooo not going to work out. Gotham is going to go down the tube, so Night Wing is going to do what he has to do. Yep Yep

Excellent review! I am worried over that preview at the end, but it also gives me hope that Tim may become Batman. After all, why else would Damian need to take on the Robin role?

I actually just read that because I got Batman and Son today, and it has a completely different look. Plus, I think I read somewhere that the Gun totting, kick ass batman is jason because that is what he thinks batman should be.

Well both the Dark Knight Returns and then Strikes again were never really accepted as canon by DC, so while I love Carrie I never really thought of her in the group of Dick, Jason, Tim and Stephanie. Heck, sometimes I don't even consider Stephanie to be a real Robin because she was just that bad.

Have you read Batman #666? It"s Damian in the future as Batman. Do you think that"s just an elseworld oneshot or the possible futue? He's not at all bratty and annoying in that story and seemed like a pretty badass Batman imo. I liked his trechcoat style costume and the way he fought functionaly ,using the 3 "fins"on his gloves as blades.

I have read that one, and that is the only time I have ever liked Damian, lol. I mean I believe that was written by Neil Gaiman, who is doing the "whatever happened to the caped crusader." My arguement for that would be that I know both Tim and Dick have seen the future with them as Batman in it. I think that damian's age and how character is still pretty new to the universe is going to be the major reason he doesn't get the cowl now.

I am going based on looks and it's Dick, Jason or maybe Azreal. But with Tim, he could literally have a growth spurt right about the time he has to wear the costume.

I'd almost say it's Dick after Tim is nearly killed as a result of no real Batman. A female Robin again would be kewl. I have a feeling the Bucky for Captain America might be the female one from Heroes Reborn. If Dick is Batman, it would be a mirror universe.

It seems like Tim will get the cowl. Which might be to obvious.
