Beautifully done my friend. Now just sing it! I was singing along for you lol. Just one comment, the guitar riff at 1:13 could be just a couple of notches louder. You ROCKED that solo man, especially at 1:58 and onward, really nicely done. G&L is a sweet guitar!

nope. He tuned his guitar to nashville tuning. Basically its a high e string where the low e string is and then you use the high strings from a 12 string set. Then its just as easy as playing nothing else matters by metallica. Just a super easy picking pattern but the tuning makes it sound complicated even though what youre playing is easy.
I noticed that a few years ago. I think they did it that way so you didnt have to restring your guitar or buy another guitar. Im sure they were just being considerate. :-) There is a write up about it on gilmourish. Its also listed under the wall settings for hey you. Once you try it you'll never go back. It sounds so perfect!

nice cover, who ever phumbed this down is either death and didn't hear how good it was or a blind guy who missed the phumbs up. Nice cover

Great cover! just about the acoustic arpeggio : I think Dave played it with a capo on the 3rd fret...

Well, I should try this tuning out...but the one with a capo is mentioned in the Wall guitar songbook..
