  • We sell a brushless motor controller which allows on/off and speed control from Mach3 or EMC2. It can be used with any parallel port driver board and no other special hardware is needed. If interested visit us at logicnc (dot) com

  • that is a mostar

  • Excellent. Thanks. Cant wait for the interface with Mach.

  • Can the spindle be used for milling Aluminum n Steel??? I have read RC Motors get hot really fast. Does the motor function satisfactorily for extended periods of time (say continuous milling for 2 - 3 hours)??? Your reply will be highly appreciated as I am in the process of designing a DIY Spindle for my new DIY CNC Mill.

    Thank You!

    Joe!

  • So can you post a video of it cutting something. Hows it handle the load?

  • For starters....I will use a simple 555 timer circuit to drive the controller. The longer term plan is to interface the controller to Mach3, using it's PWM capability.

I will continue to use the 14MZ to fly airplanes:)

  • What will you use to drive the motor as final setup? Using a 14MZ and CC 85HV probably isn't what you have in mind for production......
