  • You are right. I knew it was a scam since day one. I personally have been wishing OWS would stand infront of the store that open at midnight. You know so that it looks like a HUGE crowd and when the doors open they shoul walk away. THAT will really hurt Wall Street.

  • Don’t give up dude..........

  • I do not think you or millions have dropped out for a second, you are talking about it and so are the other sleepers. People believe what is real to them, they are waking up. Instead of shaking your head...........once again shake your fist :-)

  • As a complete outsider I see that both party’s are corrupt, the reps are 100% behind big business and will get away with anything they can and the dems will try and get away with anything the people do not see. How the hell you guys will sort this out is beyond me, the corruption and lack of morals is overwhelming......good luck and OWS

  • @Redpilldown there's nothing to sort out - I've just dropped out years ago and never looked back. That's the only answer to this mess - millions of us have dropped out and are merely passive observers who quietly watch the events and shake our heads in amusement assuming one can find things funny at times.

  • My understanding is that because the super committee couldn't come up with a plan they could all agree on, the "triggers" will go into effect in 2013. These triggers are the expiration of the Bush tax cuts and the cut backs on military spending. Obama said that any "short cuts" will be vetoed, so the Congress is now up. They have to come up with a plan that will pass both the house and Senate in the upcoming year.

  • @Boomer1949 Thom Hartmann on Satellite radio spoke about this in similar terms. My wife told me he said if they just let the things expire everyone can walk away without any obligation or commitment from either party to do anythings since no one will be obliged or have signed onto any agreement in the first place. I hope this made sense. I know it sounds convoluted but that's the way she explained it to me.

  • @raoul116 Of course they wouldn't come up with any agreement when there is an election coming up. One false move and they are out of office, regardless of what stripe they wear. Our government isn't paralyzed because of polarization, it's paralyzed because of large corporate donors. One has medical backers, the other has the oil backer, still another has insurance or banking. You can't create or change anything when you're afraid of biting the hand that feeds you.

  • I suggest a constitutional convetion, and replace the corrupt bastards there.

A request. How's your literary knowledge?

I finished my book two nights ago, and could use som feedback. And a publisher if you know of any...
