What an interesting testimony! I appreciate her search for God, I went through something similar, probably about the same age, too. I am glad that she found a place she belongs. I grew up in a Pentecostal church, but that's where I got to know God. He answered my prayers, and led me there. I live full of purpose and peace now, that I never had before I met God. I believe that God blesses those who sincerely look for the truth by guiding them to it sooner or later. The Christians that are on here bashing her choice to convert are making true Christians look bad. We all have a choice, if she doesn't accept Jesus Christ as the true God, that is her choice and we shouldn't judge her.

Oh dear another one looking for direction in her life and converting to something that seems to have more structure. She didnt have the foundations at home so again was on the search for something. A Bhudda could have spoke to her and she probably would have converted to that faith too. Jesus loves her and still does and that is all that matters. She needs to recognise that.

Why do you want her to leave islam, do you know what it teaches besides the SEVERE distortions in the media, study and maybe you will understand some thing, as for jesus leave, God loves everyone, who created virgin mary (SHE SURE DIDN'T MAKE HERSELF!!!), jesus (jesus was created not god), muhammad, moses, abraham, etc as well as all prophets not mentioned in the quran/bible/torah/vida, etc throughout various stages and cultures of humanity or human history.

Jesus is the only one that has rose from the dead and is STILL alive. Everyone has their own choice to serve and worship who they choose. it's not up to us to judge them. God still loves us no matter how we choose to serve.

in islam god is living ever living, and has always existed beyond our concept of time, to exist in time you have to be created because its a period which you did not exist, god has no age, because he extends beyond all creation of the universe, as for jesus rising from dead god doesn't die, jesus was human but god did work through him to show miracles to his people, he TOOK NO CREDIT FOR HIS MIRACLES.

I can not convince anyone to worship my God, I am not clever enough, I am not savvy enough to use scriptures to bring out and illustrate my points, I am not a debater, nor am I a bible scholar. However God has called me to be a witness...Meaning I'm not a lawyer nor judge, just a simple individual who can testify what this "man" Jesus has done for me. I know he's real from my expierences. But my journey brought me back full circle. the bible says the 2 greatest commandments given to man is...(paraphrase) Love the Lord your God, with all your heart,soul,andstrength. And to love your neighbor as yourself. Upon these two hang all the Laws and prophecies. With Love I will not Judge, nor will I lie to you. I will not cuss at you, nor cheat you...Love...In the bible there are 66 books on Gods love. Now whether we beleive or not, it wont change...

the above testimonies, my heart is burdened because when life delivers its dose of pain we have a god filled void in our hearts to want to seek Him, but the faith given by us causes us to search in our own way. and where we end up at the end of our journey will decide on whose side we are on. But the Good thing about God, is that there is forgiveness as long as we are still breathing...I had to go through it...I went to the mosque, I went to buddha temples, on my own...searching for a remedy...

Hello, I was listening to the testimony of the above young lady, I too came from a broken background, I was in foster care my whole life, from 5-20 y/o. My mother is schizophrenic, and I never knew my father, I endured a thing or two. I also had to search for the truth in my being, and if there was a God. I admire the young lady desire to seek Him. The kind of desire is rare, and I feel God is going to do a great work. But I stand on Apostolic ground and doctrine. Whewn I see...

I have to agree with zapthycat. You didn't go to a TRUE Pentecostal church. Assemblies of God maybe?? There are no 3 different persons in the Godhead. Only three different manifestations of god

I had some of the same experiences as Tanya, and I almost converted to Islam. But then I studied the matter and i realized that it was Pentecostalism... not Christianity that was the problem. I also understood that Pentecostalism and Islam are both trying to redefine Christianity based on some accusation against Catholicism. Since both Pentecostalism and Islam are both different from each other, there is no way that they can both be correct in blaming Catholicism for "removing" their "truth".

Christianity is wrong, Jesus Christ was a good man, but those last 2000 years have shown us that religion is not good for human beings.. they should be free, not to be told what to do. That is why the world is so bad today..

um last i checked, it was spirituality in the hands of empires was the problem, not the beliefs themselves. Then let's add the fact that Jesus said that if your message isn't welcome to simply wipe the dust off your feet and walk away, not threaten their lives.

I agree and the same goes for islam. Don't judge it by looking at muslims or so called muslims. Islam is submitting to God Almighty and so in essence it is the religion of all the profets He sent. Being a muslim is in compliance with their message, wich is the message of Jesus just aswell as Muhammed. Some differences may be in rituals and ruling for the ppl the specific profet came to. I compare this to when a parent has different rules for children of different ages and in different situations
