  • wow actors back then were so honest

  • She is such a gorgeous, fascinating woman, and their passion for eachother really inspires me. Everytime I see interviews with them it makes me almost want to cry.

  • PASSION beyond compare. Baby's gt blue eyes rest in his arms this New YEAR'S Eve. The first one together in a long time Angel Eyes. TY for posting this. What a couple!! WOW!!!

  • I do understand their love of fighting. insulting each other can be fun, of course the other person has to feel the same way (which is hard to find), at the end of the day, u can't take each other too seriously. be tongue-in-cheek. Personally I find lovey-dovey couples who do PDA all the time cringeworthy.

  • She was so ahead of her time <3

  • They had a mix of toxicity and extreme passion. what a mix!

  • Stunning woman!!!!

I love, love, love to watch how Elizabeth reacts to him claiming to be henpecked. She pretends not to be pissed off then throws her hands up. Then she smiles, then she rolls her eyes, then she scowls at him and you can tell that while she's watching him light his cigarette she looks as though she's very turned on by him.

It captures their relationship perfectly, I love them.

  • @GlanceofGlory I Totally agree, love it too, like how you pointed it out, very true (as far as we know:))

  • "you make me puke" - nails it

  • i saw this several years ago and its been on my mind since. the view from that location is amazing. i saw on rewind 60 minutes the location is in bel-air. for some reason i was thinking this whole time it was in france.

  • I loved Elizabeth's honesty. There was nothing fake about her. She was also very caring. What an extraordinary woman! There are no 'stars' like this anymore, which is so very sad.

  • Love at its Best!!

  • What year was this interview?

  • Pure magic. Passion personified. Elizabeth said maybe they lived each other too much. I do think had Rich lived they would have found their way back to each other. Now maybe they have found that love again in heavenly splendor. Sleep warm LUVS. WE MISS YOU BUT WILL NEVER FORGET THE MAGIC AND FIRE YOU BOTH HAD ON AND OFF THE SCREEN.

  • this interview is most deliciously better than all the retarded romantic movies of our times..this is "LOVE" in a most passionate way..god i wish i have what these two had..

  • The way she looked at Burton when he was lighting a cig (around 7 mins, after he claims he's henpecked): HAWT LOVE! Magnificent couple.

  • Elizabeth Taylor is so lovely, i've never loved someone so much!

  • her eyes look totally violet in this video. Unbelievable.

  • @tamerswan lol what?

  • He had an affair with Genevieve Bujold when he was making the movie with her.

  • This interview ia awesome! Thank you so much! .K

  • Great couple, I love them both and "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is my favourite film with them. Many thanks for sharing this video!

  • haha "its to keep me cool" gotta love them :)

  • What she says about richard in the end is very telling, Richard was plagued with low self-esteem and huge guilt and self-loathing. He hated himself for having escaped the awful, slavelike fate that awaited all of the members of his family in the coal mines of ponthydrifen in wales, blamed himself all his life, for that an everything, he was truly complex, truly humble and a BRILLIANT actor and writer, but as most brilliant people always do, he didn't feel he was any good.

  • =( wheres the rest?

  • @fanaa232323 ..........there more

  • @fannyanne2 in which periode did this interview took place? in 1970??

  • @fannyanne2 i've seen various versions of this interview, they all leave some stuff out.

  • @fannyanne2 search "Richard Burton Elizabeth Taylor 60 Minutes" in the video search for google and you'll see the in-between parts of this interview on the CBS website, it's one of the first videos.

  • I love them! this is priceless. Thanks for sharing this!!

  • Richard was really brilliant, as an actor and as a writer, and he was really insecure and humble, a great man. And Liz, well there are no words to effectively convey her greatness in every sense, as a woman, as an actress, as a child of the world, etc. Thank you Liz for such legacy.

  • She was always so pretty but she was so sexy in this interview. She was so beautiful especially in her late 30 early 40's. Those eyes and that hair and her voice.

  • @ghoula69 you know people say she was the most beautiful woman in the world etc.. her eyes are quite nice but she wears so much make up :S ive been watching vids to try and force myself to think shes amazing but i cant help it.. i just dont .. i think shes averagely pretty and thats it.. am i the only one :(

  • It was so sad that she just died a few days ago, but her legacy is extraordinary, she was an amazing person and I heard he was her "true love" which should stay alive forever <3

  • Great interview I love these two.

  • Thank you so much for this video!
