I havent seen a video by these cats I didnt like.....just jammin...no worries around...it doesnt matter what anybody says. Its the blues. An escape from all the negativity in the world. Killer musicianship and with feeling. Keep em comn fellas
@leodyer13 Thank you so much, my friend! I agree with your words 100%, man! That is what true improv is all about...total and complete release, true to the moment. And if you dig improvisation and Spontaneous Music, you should definitely check out all the videos we have of Project K-Paz, a group that plays completely improvised, Spontaneous Music. Let me know if you like it! Cheers!
Hello fellow musicians and poets(: I'm applying to Berklee College of Music for the semester of Fall 2012 for songwriting & composition. I'd like to know some respective and honest feedback on two of my songs roughly recorded on my page! I will answer questions as well. Please give it a listen and give me some advice on the audition and tips if you have any. Thank you ! :)
@BurntCouch Yeah, we should have planned this a little better..but it was just gonna be a jam...one camera...it was the best we could do :) Josh Fobare is the man behind the keys there...you can't see him on this video, but you can see him on all the ones I uploaded recently, the Project K-Paz videos....thanks for watching!! :)
@kiwicookiebear Thank you very much, man...yeah, SRV is a huge influence on my playing, I think you can tell, haha. We played together for a while, but now are all in different corners of the world...but the music carries on! I hope you enjoy the other videos up on my profile as well! Peace!
damn..i've always want to get into Berklee...too bad i'm from Taiwan..too far to reach it..what a pity!! even just sitting in front of my computer watching you guys enjoying your musical life makes me feel happy
Hey, man, don't give up! You should try to audition for Scholarship whenever the "world scholarship tour" comes by your country! I myself came to Berklee after getting an Economics Degree and working in Banking, I was already 25 years old...many people do that and come here after a previous "journey", and that's totally fine!! So remember, don't give up, try the scholarship and if you practice hard and really love your music, you'll be here in no time.
thanks man..i'm 17 now and being a musician isn't easy in my country.after all,the society and the cultural are different,we have lots of amazing musician here but it's just tough to do it as a career in my country!but what you said really inspired me..knowing that it's never too late to strive for one's dream.hopefully not a dream though..again thanks for sharing your thought! and keep recording this kind of good stuff!
Absolutely, I understand...I am from Brazil and we struggle as well with that kind of thing...but that's it, don't give up, and chase after your passion. Oh, and check out the website of my new musical project when you get a chance, Project K-Paz, it's 100% improvised, spontaneous music: projectkpaz . com
Hey, man! Thank you for watching! As far as Berklee goes, I would recommend you get in touch with the school and try to come for the 5-week summer program they have, that is a great way to get a feel of the school and already start working you way in, if you know what I mean ;-)
Other than that, practice, practice, and practice! And always try to audition for scholarship!
Thanks again for watching, hope you like the other videos up on my profile as well!
Hey guys, Awesome! I'm a huge fan of Stevie Ray, I'm trying to learn how to play blues guitar myself. You guys are a definite inspiration. Keep on jammin'! Stevie would be proud!
Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words! You are on the right track by listening to SRV in order to learn some blues guitar, hehe...I would also recommend early BB King (50's) and Muddy Waters, as well as Buddy Guy...they are not legends for nothing, and they were SRV's influences ;-)
Hope you like the other videos up on my profile as well! Peace!
Thanks a lot, once again man! You should check out my new musical project, Project K-Paz (projectkpaz . com), it's 100% improvised, Spontaneous Music, and we just released a CD and a DVD. Let me know what you think! :-)
It's actually just the audio of my camera...but it sounds nice, right? I put it up on a tripod in the corner of the room and kinda "aimed" the amps towards it, hehe.
Awesome!

lets see you play not your back .. stage fright?
ColdToiletSeats 3 years ago 10
Not really...I'd rather look at the band and play music than do a little performance for the camera...why?
alvarokapaz 3 years ago
gotta see you tear it up man wanna see your hands atleast
ColdToiletSeats 3 years ago 7
Sorry, man...it was really just bad positioning for the camera...but thanks for watching anyways! :-)
alvarokapaz 3 years ago
@ColdToiletSeats he's doing that because he's connecting with the band. they don't want to see his back anymore than you do.
