  • In Gaulish it was pronounced SAMONIOS, so the most archaic pronounce contain the sound "m". Gaelic has changed a lot from the early pre-christian continental Celtic language, influenced by euphonic laws and by pre-indoeuropean local influences.

  • I'm christian but I just like this for the music it helps me think creatively it sounds asian

  • I Really enjoy so many different Videos and I like the different takes on each magic and Sabbats..very cool very diverse!

  • these pictures remind me of the books: hoouse of night!

  • @neleke141 eeeeewww

  • There is beauty in Ancient Wisdom

  • Samhain starts the new year... Im pritty shure.

  • samhain is like halloween, am i right? in the wicca year? dos not the wicca year (as i call it ^^') start with yule and end with samhain?

  • @XtreatX Samhain is October 31st, or "Hall'o ween" night. Samhain was a Gaelic harvest festival held on October 31–November 1. It was linked to festivals held around the same time in other Celtic cultures, and was popularised as the "Celtic New Year" from the late 19th century. :3 Hope that helps.

  • @Bathoric95 thank you ^^

  • @XtreatX No, Samhain ( Pronounced Sow-een) is the start of the Lunar year, when the vale between this world and the next is at it's thinnest, and is seen as the "holiest" of night in the Wiccan calender. This is especially true, in my opinion, for those of Nightkind, such as myself.

  • @Eiferlosesit1986 ah, thank you :)

  • @Eiferlosesit1986 Uh, I think you mean that Samhain is the start of the Celtic New Year. I've heard it pronounced "Sow-en" as well as "Sow-een" (I wonder if there is a dialect difference in the Gaelige). I know of people who recognize Samhain on the 31st of October or when the sun enters Scorpio (early November).

I wouldn't say that I am a Nightkind, but I do enjoy "Moon-bathing", as I call it :). Nothing is as good as the Moon's solemn light on the body.

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O(

  • @celticbattleaxe The Celtic New Year is based on the Lunar year, but like all things in Witchcraft/Paganism Samhain is up for interpretation. Brightest blessings. Enjoy your moon-bathing! I know I draw energy from my Goddess when I wade in her light. )O(

  • @Eiferlosesit1986 True, but what really sucks is how confusing the Solar calendar is to transfer to the Lunar calendar.

    Blessed be times Three!! )O( )O( )O(

  • Comment removed

  • @Eiferlosesit1986 Yes, indeed :)

Even worse is trying to understand the Celtic Tree Calendar in accordance to BOTH Solar and Lunar calendars.

    EEK!

    Blessed be times Three )O( )O( )O(

    - Bréinann

  • @celticbattleaxe It's actually pronounced "sha-von"

  • @TrainmasterCurt Whoa-whoa. What dialect of Gaelige?

It doesn't make sense that it should be pronounced "sha-von", because there is no 'si' or 'se' in "Samhain", and there is no 'bh' to make the 'v' sound.

Sorry, but I think you are wrong - then again, I only know Munster Gaelige well enough.

'Mh' makes a 'w' sound in Gaelige - only in Scottish does it sound like a 'v' (or 'w', depending on dialect) sound.

At least you don't pronounce it like 'sam-hane', like almost all cowens do.

  • @celticbattleaxe Actually no, mh can also make the V sound in Irish, and BH can also mae the W sound. But you are correct that the V sound doesn't make any sense here, because for the V sound the word would either need to be spelled differently or this would need to be one of the exceptions to the rule.

  • @chissprincess Not in Munster dialect, and I don't think so in old Irish, but I will take your word :). Dialects of Gaelige can get pretty confusing, and I'm most familiar with Munster's. But it does make sense for it to be also pronounced as a "v".

    Now it's "sa-ven"! :) (not). :)

  • @celticbattleaxe Yeah, I studied the Connemara dialect. But even then Samhain would be pronounced without a V sound :p

  • @chissprincess Oh gosh! :) I wonder what the Ulster dialect pronunciation would be, since theirs is one of the most fluid. :) The people of Munster and Connacht seem to have more to do with consonants than vowels :). I would pronounce 'Eirinn go bragh' as "Erin guh brawch" (Connacht seems to stress the 'gh' more), while someone from Ulster would say it as "Air-in guh braah" (and they don't seem to stress the 'gh').

    Ye Gods - Wow! :)

  • @XtreatX Samhain is the end of the old year and the begining of the new.

  • Isn't this a song called celtic moods ?

  • This brought tears to my eyes..

  • I don't understand why everyone is getting into arguements about religion. I just came here to admire Loreena's magnificent voice.

  • i see what you mean but i'm doing this alone and i have nowhere to look. I just don't know what to do. Thanks for the help though. Blessed be!

  • However,I may stick true to Jesus - not Christianity. Jesus was, is, and will be so beyond the religion that came -Christianity. Jesus sings to me like a Shaman, so does Gandhi, and the Buddha. I've learned to connect the dots from Christianity to Wicca to Shamanisms to Buddhism to Hinduism and back to Wicca again and it all lives in me - it is all a circle. How you choose to live spiritually is in the beholder that is the beauty of it all. The walls of spiritual thought most fall for growth.

  • I never get tired of watching this and listening to it. I love it and im going to keep learning more about wicca and hopefully grasp everything about it and be a good one. I wont give in to nay sayers i am what i am and i will be a better wiccan.

  • Beautiful imagery.

  • This is awesome song. I have been a pagan for many years now, mostly of faery magick and a follower of the Avalonian path just recently. And actually yes the early Christians did use the Solstice to help convert the pagans. It's not bad nor are the Christians bad for doing so it just happened.

  • @stalkingcat123 why did you say that? Christians are not as horrible as you describe them. I would know, I am a Christian. But I respect all religions and most all people. (I say most, cause, you know, some people are mean) We also did not steal the winter solstice from pagans. Christmas is just our religious winter holiday.

  • @OMGoc9 Actually, you did. The Church moved the celebration of Jesus' birthday from August or September to December, on the Solstice, because it would be easier for the pagans to convert.

  • @OMGoc9 no its is not chistmas was origonally in the summer months and the pope did change it from summer to winter long ago to help the resisting pagans convert your holidays are that same as ours now and hey look now your gods are saints look now stop fighting us and give us your lands. ghey shit

  • i wish christainity wasn't as as prolific as it is.crappy religeon crappy followers crappy god , crappy beliefs. jesus hates chistians he was born in the summer and the church moves his b-day to dec 25 so they could steal the winter solstice from the pagans. that should piss god off. if you are christain you are going to your hell cause your god hates you

  • @stalkingcat123 Since when is Wicca about hate? I know it's hard when people stand in our way, and when they hate you it's easy to hate them in return. Don't give in to that! You don't have to acknowledge them as right, or as having the right to change who you are or what you do (and you shouldn't) but hate leads to the Dark Side, only instead of cookies there's frustration and powerlessness. :( By letting them make you miserable, you give them what they want--to make opposition unpleasant!

  • The Great Mother's eye watches over all of us.. no unclean deed will go unseen. She will not allow such harm to come to her children. Just remember that anytime anyone goes to hurt you.

  • Is so beautiful and really send me to a state of peace. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song

  • I'm in love with this song :) It is SO beautiful. I replayed it so much, my mother had to tell me to get earphones :]

    Blessed Be )O( :)

  • very peaceful music

  • this is the most beautiful music I ever heard. I always been searching by a song that cause this feeling... this is the emotion...

  • one advantage at being a 67 year old slavic Witch, is I could give a (insert sign of the fig) what anyone else's opinion is. I know what I know, and if you disagree, you better have something better than a slapped together and many versioned book to use as proof. I also will not accept as evidence beamed down information, or golden letters in a hat. Now give me some quantum physics (which explains all things magick), and we can talk.

  • well said B.b

  • Christianity is just as pagan as Wicca, I dunno what you guys have to fight about. I'm not Wiccan, but I would like to mention how friendly you guys are, with the whole "blessed be" salutations. Is that religious or just really friendly? I keep seeing people say it x)

  • @bulletproofpunk religious and friendly it's like saying good day or have a nice evening. religious because it's like a short version of may you be blessed.

  • ...keep going back to this song.

  • I was raised a christian as well, never understood it, never ever could belive in christian teachings even though i have tried. I practice Wiccan traditions since a year now and i feel more free and more love more purity of the spirit than i ever felt in my entire life put together. Blessed be and stay true to your spirit no matter what your calling is. Let us shine from now into the beyond now and again forever!

  • what religion is this :D because im very curious about these things and believe in all religions ..

  • @missari13 Samhain is a traditional Celtic holiday. though now it is embraced by many different Pagan Cultures around the world. it starts at sunset oct31 and continues until sunset Nov 1.

  • @Shadowguard24 thankyou for sharing your information with me and i also too love the night much more than the day

  • @missari13 Anytime, let me know if i can help you with anything else. Good health and every good blessing to you.

  • @Shadowguard24 ive not found documentation on the length of Samhain. Do you have a suggestion or reference for that, so I can add it to my studies? Thank you and Blessed Be.

  • @safehouse123 one suggestion is this Celebrating the Seasons of Life: Samhain to Ostara: Lore,Rituals,Activities and Symbols, it covers half of the year wheel, it actually corrected me on a couple of points same with the aformentioned book. let me know if you need any other references, i have a few other books that i can list for you.

  • @safehouse123 You have to love wicca to understand it and not fear it. They who talk unfriendly like about us , is they who fear us the most. Blessed Be.

  • even tho i was told growing up by others witchcraft was bad i believe i have always been guided to it .i have always felt different about religion and never believed what i was being told as a child about go and Jesus Christ the bible contradicts its self so much there are so much left out of it and not printed its an unfinished religion i believe there r books missing u cant build a religion on something unfinished

  • i have always thoght this way ever since i was little. i just didnt no what to call it.i was always pulled toward the wwind blowing sounds in the night. and even thogh i was told growing up witch craft was bad noone really sent me along a path of religeon until my mother met my step father he is sioux and even tho tho beliefs r hugely different in many ways and some the same i believe my great grand mother and mom and aunt have been Wicca i was just not supposed to no it

  • i was a christian then i discovered a romantic religion paganism and now i am not christian.

  • I read these comments and see many the reason why I have forsaken Christianity. Bigotry, ignorance and arrogance towards other religions, with the amusing notion of God being the real deity that formed this world and the heavens around it. Sit down for a short history lesson little children, humanity had been worshiping multiple gods and very consistent in how they appeared and the divisions between aspects, Christianity is a new player to the stage of destiny. Gaia is whom I look to now

  • I still love this song so much. I still love learning more about wicca and I'll keep learning till my hearts content.

  • Blessed sisters be, Stand strong,,, Do not throw away your pearls to those who won't receive them, but offer them what they can receive and are looking for, Love. Let all Feel into their hearts, there we will find the same spirit that is aiding all of us!

  • @HanumanLoki Blessed Be to You as well sister I know it is rare to find a brother of this spiritual path of life but i feal the same way Sisters and Brothers of the craft don't fear whereing the pentagram in public if we are to win our rights and to be free to pratice whenever and wherever we wish.

  • Favorite image is at 3:19 where there is a circle including daughters, that is such a beautiful sight. Blessed be

  • I always wonder what I'v chosen for myself in this life when I was in Summerland ...

  • Watch the VIDEO on You Tube titled...

" War on Christmas - New HD version "

& a beautifully video full of photo art

" David Duke Wishes You a White Christmas "

  • TRULY AN AMAZING VIDEO

  • I am a Former Wiccan. I am now a Liberal Independent Catholic, and worship as one. The Independent Church I attend Mass at is founded by a Gay Priest and his partner who WERE both priests in the Traditional Vatican Order. They left the church and began their own ministry where their prime mission is to feed the homeless, somewhat what I believe SHOULD be the true mission of the church considering that it's Founder, Jesus himself, did exactly the same. But I'm still fond of Wicca, Blessed Be!

  • I never understand why people, christians in particular, always have to challenge everything on a Pagan site I am an old lady and I have been Wiccan for many years but I do believe that there is no One way to spirit. So please, you christians believe what you want and let everyone else believe what they want and PLEASE don't watch these videos if it upsets you so much.. I thank you for the beautiful music. Blessed Be.

  • I am a christian myself but i always like other religions that are more mystical then mine including all pagan religions

    It's not ours to judge

  • This is Beautiful. Thanks you.

  • I don't care for the debate. All I can say is that I'm pagan and PROUD!

Remember, Do what thou will and harm none.

  • Thank you for opening this magical door for me tonight. I needed this.

  • Oh dear.. seems that this most beautifull and moving song has started a "my-religion-is-better-than-yours" discussion. A true shame! Please have done wih it and let people enjoy this song in peace!

  • @Sickofu100

Why are you going on and on about Wicca? Samhain is a Gaelic ritual formed out of fear and respect for the dead. Its the cleansing ceremony. Wicca has no relation to Samhain. Seeing as this song is called "Samhain Night" they are not Wicca, they are Gaelic. Either that or they have no real ties to any religion and only used the idea of Samhain to appeal to an audience. Btw there are 2 Samhain Nights in a year, "Samhain Night" should be plural if they knew what they sang about.

  • Yes, we remember...

  • very pretty. )0(

  • MY ex-students just found out that I am Pagan/Wiccan lol Kids I taught 15 yrs ago are sending me mails saying wow lol Of course thats why I no longer work and am blackballed. If I really was the satanic witch my ex-boss tells ppl I am, then she would be in trouble lol and they say Christians are persecuted lol

  • Pretty song. :)

  • I have heard similar, however this is amazing. I will listen to this and feel the calm that its extrudes. Thank you for posting.

On another note I was raised in Christianity and as I became my own have studied and learned of Wicca. I am a true believer. I do not judge! For those that have posted such negative thoughts or judgements, do to their own beliefs remember the bible states "thou shall not judge!"

  • @crestedwlf What is judging from mans view? So what if they do call evil evil and good good? Is it restricted to those who are Servants & Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ or to all, no matter where they live in this world? How can it be enforced on those in other lands if they call wicca evil & how will you punish them?

If its not against THEIR laws to do so then its ok, isnt it? What laws in the usa say we cannot Judge as Jesus did: calling evil evil & good good?

    Jesus is Lord. Amen

  • I have heard similar, however this is amazing. I will listen to this and feel the calm that its extrudes. Thank you for posting.

  • what a serene song...i love it :)

  • So beautiful!!! Thank you for posting this!

    ~Proud Pagan!~

  • i have to ask why people that arent of like mind come to wiccan or other pagan sites just to spread their belief... we dont do that to you (some punk kids do, but not true faithful pagans). most wiccans i know were and dont care to be christians again...me being one of them. live and let live... why debate it?

  • @eipirani Because, its in our heart to reach out top people and tell them.If it is offensive, than dont read what the Christian is written. But yu, yrself, came from a Christian background, should know the condition of a christian heart. i hope i haven't offended yu, i mean no harm, I truly am answering yr question honestly, and I'm only doing that. This is part of the christian belief, to speak to others, some are idiots, try to brawl beat someone over the head with the bible, those are the

  • @eipirani immature ones

  • @willy92507 you're not being offensive at all

  • @eipirani Cool, I'm glad I wasn't. How are yu?

  • This is so beautiful.

  • @justbernard: Oh how I enjoy this piece! It occupies my days and haunts my nights.. Thank you so much for posting this!

  • Loreena McKennitt's original composition, like most of her songbook.

The only songs she "covers" are traditional folk songs.

  • Great category. :D Non profit and activism LOL

  • Comment removed

  • well..like the creed says..abide within the laws we must in perfect love and perfect trust.!if the whole world was more open to accept the things they fear and do not understand then wars would not exist, and hate crimes would fade like smoke into the fall breeze,,and people will walk in unity,,just my thouts,,,blessed be )0(

  • A beautiful Song. Thank you.

    Blessed Be.

    )O(

  • This song is so wonderfully beautiful I don't see how anyone could hate a religion that uses this music as it's inspiration to keep peace and love flowing through the world and it's inhabitants. No matter what religion you are, )0( Blessed be and marry meet.

  • @Fuininnas The three headed dog is most often a representation of Cerberus, the hound that guarded the gates of Hades (whether the gates are those leading into the realm of Hades or the god's actual palace is often left unclear). Cerberus is also noted in Dante Alighieri's "Inferno" as the guardian to the final three layers of Hell.

  • @ighforever how do you know jesus is real do you know how many times your bible has been alterd for example the text that used to read "thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live" was later changed to "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" all to fuel the king of that times witch hunts also all through levitacus(sp?) it tells youthat homosexuals should be murdered now why is this when one of your 10 comandments is "THOU SHALT NOT KILL" u people amaze me

    blessed be ))O((

  • @wtfkklol But what do you really know of or about God? You hear about this n that then post it & you come together with other wiccans/pagans & talk down about Christians and the Lord Jesus. Do you get a good laugh when you do? I know you do.

You are Trapped in worldly ways and thinking. You need to take a little time and seek God out. Find out what God really does.

In the Lord Jesus you will see his Father completely, nothing hidden.

e-sword . com has a FREE Bible download.

    Jesus is Lord

  • @wtfkklol just another example - it's "thou shalt not murder" again lost in translation.

  • @leonawillowwolf same thing ....

  • @wtfkklol no...it's not.

  • @leonawillowwolf yes it is

  • @ighforever, no disrespect, but every Wiccan video I go to has your hatred spewed on it. Please, respect us and we will respect you, one of our creeds is to HARM NONE. I was raised Christan and never felt right sitting in church...still don't. My husband is Catholic and respects what I believe. We see our God and Goddess, be it day for God and Night for Goddess. I see how your mind is closed, open it and do some research before writting Bleesed Be )O(

  • @witch1der catholic is not of God, taken over by pagans centuries ago. Rome is babylonian. The Apostle Peter has said this, look it up. 1Peter 5:13. Rome had many false paths & many priests of those false paths, all of them led to hellfire.

I cannot respect false paths, they are of the flesh & the god of this world: satan.

They are your destruction, you cannot prove they are Righteous: Of the Living God. He is at war with the flesh & has defeated your false gods, they will not steal his Glory.

  • @ighforever Okay before you go critizizing our beliefs. Remember the Wiccan religion is one of the oldest religions out there even with the modernizations its gone through over the years. Even older that the Catholic religion. The holy trinity in Christianity "The Father, Son and Holy Ghost" was taken from the mother goddess in her 3 forms. "The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone." We respect your religion please respect ours.

    Blessed Be )O(

  • @Velntricdragon catholic church is evil, was taken over by pagans long ago. This is proven by history. Look at the evil it has done.

God made all that is, pagan beliefs were a manifestation of the rebellion against him. Its mans ways reaching out to something greater than himself trying to fill a need that only God can fill. They refused to come to him & give him Glory. In there Pride & Lust they hated the Goodness of God. Refusing to humble themselves before him; And worked great evil.

  • @ighforever You can't claim all Wicca to be evil. Sorry but until you've actually stopped and learned about Wicca you don't know jack. As has been said Wiccan's follow the Wiccan Creed. "Bide the wiccan law ye must. In perfect love and perfect trust. An ye harm none do as ye will. What ye send forth comes back to thee, So ever mind the law of three. Follow this with mind and heart. Marry ye me and marry ye part." Those who don't follow this aren't Wiccan's at all. There wanna be's imo.

  • @ighforever But either way simply put. The Christianity Which is what Catholicism boils down to. You guys are still violating your religion. The bible states that the only being that has the right to judge anyone is "God". States that you should not judge others for what they are that only your God holds that right. Yet Christians sit there and consider Wicca to be evil consider things they don't understand to be evil.

  • @ighforever Leave everyone alone. If people here wanted to have narrow minds, they would never have opened them to begin with.

  • @stardustotaku Continuing on the subject of education, it sounds like you could use a little.

  • @TheBrendabob Don't condescend to me. If I want to tell a person to go away and stop badgering people, that's my business. Your snippy commentary is unneeded.

  • @stardustotaku Actually, That comment was not made for you. I am new to U Tube and I don't know just how this comment was sent to you. It was supposed to be an addition to a comment I made to ighforever. I find him or her annoying and I also asked whoever it is to leave us along myself. I just don't understand why other people are so concerned about the music we listen to. Read his /her comments and you might get a little snippy too.

  • @TheBrendabob Ah, okay. That makes more sense. No hard feelings then. And yeah, that guy is a douche.

  • @Velntricdragon Post 2 of 2

You cant know the things of God because God must teach you & you cant learn without the Holy Ghost. 1Corinthians Chapter 2. We know in the last days man will be evil completely. 2Timothy Chapter 3.

You have to come to Jesus to really understand, but know this: mankind is evil and apart from God he falls deeper into sin and wickedness daily; this is Scripture. But God never changes and is always good, this is Scripture. He loves you Velntricdragon. John 3:16

  • @ighforever I don't care what your scripture says. No offense to you or your faith but while i was raised christian. I never truly connected to the scripture of the bible. I was never able to truly believe in the words of the bible because none of it makes sense to me. As such I searched for years trying to find some a religion that made since to me. And for six years now I have been Wiccan. Just remember your your bible says Judge not lest you be judged yourself.

  • @Velntricdragon if you went into Christ expected it to help you feel better about things because it would somehow serve you, you went about it the wrong way. To follow Christ is to practically die to yourself. There isn't another way to do it. It's a long hard and frankly terrifying road to traverse. But if one actually makes it, the spiritual purity at the end is unparalleled, as human desires can no longer interfere.

  • @Velntricdragon He doesn't judge you... ''Believing'' in Wicca is pure idiocy. So is believing in any religion, but wicca? Seriously? Rofl.

  • @K4inan why? Why is belief in something Idiocy. honestly i see the belief in nothing pure idiocy. even a majority of scientists out there believe in a diety. but i realize i might as well be talking to a wall with you. though i don't seek to change your beliefs just to figure out where that comes from.

  • @Velntricdragon

hi i'm recently starting my year and a day of studying. can anyone help me out? I live in the bible belt (where most of my family is christan)so there are no covens are or shops to help me out. can you tell me some reliable sites or videos. or possibly even message mme from time to time

  • @deathanglesdaught I know I wasn't who you were talking to, but I thought I'd chip in anyway. I too was raised in the Bible Belt and went to Wicca in search of answers. The best answer is that while many Wiccans practice Wicca as a highly formal ritualistic group religion, many others are solitary and/por more spontaneous. The single resource that helped me out the most was Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham, although that's a book and you have to buy it.

  • @deathanglesdaught It's really better to take somewhat sparingly from outside resources when you're alone. Most sites, etc, are geared towards spells, or towards group ritual, or both, and you often don't get any of the spirituality behind it when it's that impersonal and unfocused towards your needs. I know I'm sounding a bit obtuse right now (I'm very tired--it's late for me) but feel absolutely free to message me if any or all of that sounded like slightly good advice. ^^

  • @Velntricdragon Me to! If youre going to be a religion be something inspiring and beautiful :)

  • @Velntricdragon No comes to the Son unless the Father draws him near. You dont choose God,He chooses you and for you other so called Christains, many are called but few are chosen.Think about what that means.

  • @ighforever Post 2 of 2, Simply put its in human nature to fear what they don't understand. Wicca is not evil as most people, you yourself from the posts i've read from you, claim it to be. But I also know that there is no point trying to teach someone about something they don't understand when they are un-willing to listen and learn.

In perfect love and Perfect Trust Blessed Be )O(

  • @ighforever Will you please do me a favor and explain to me what a Holy Ghost actually is? I have found that many Christians do not even knows what the Holy Ghost represents. I would also like to make the comment that any religion is only as good as the individuals who practice it. I am not Catholic, but I sent my daughters to private catholic high school because it was the best college prep school in our area. There are some wonderful Catholics and then there are some sick, twisted ones.

  • @TheBrendabob The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is God.

There is only one undefiled and Pure Religion and that is those who have truely submitted to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, who have had their sins forgiven and are indwelt with the Holy Ghost. This is the Spirit of Adoption, we are Baptised and Sanctified by the Holy Ghost. We are God's children. You cannot be one of his Children without him.

The catholic church is evil, it has nothing to do with Christ Jesus.

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen

  • @ighforever

no more with all this boring lies,

  • @Hwitwulf All True. Seek God out, ask him to show you of himself. Ask God to talk to you to lead you unto him. Tell God you really want to find him and that you reject this world.

God will help you. And you will have Eternal life. Just try God and see he is good. Amen

  • @ighforever

Listen Quite Clear, You Sheep, I Do Love To Much This World And It's Beauty To Became a crying-bigot-wimpy slave just like You.

I do not f.....ing care about something that no one can truly now after death, i do not know only about THIS LIFE, NOW And HERE,

And I See What you galileans Have done to the world, You the Shame of Europe.

  • @Hwitwulf The world is beautiful and I enjoy it too. Its the wicked evil ways of man that are evil and satan and his hordes of demons. And I am a sheep and Jesus is my shepherd. Amen.

There is more to what is than what we see, Heaven is above and all around us are Angels and Demons, this is a war the the Lord Jesus Christ has already won. Amen.

That Love, Mercy and Wisdom of God is yours too, I have it in abundance.

"Ask and you will receive." --- Jesus.

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen

  • @ighforever

bla bla bla bla bla , mamma me', quant' a si scassat u c....

(Seems To hear a broken record....... )

  • @ighforever what exactly is the point to saying you got something "in abundance?" way to broadcast you got something other people don't. That only puts people off. It doesn't do well for others of your faith who are more level headed. I don't recall Christ telling his followers to piss people off.

  • @Hwitwulf I applaud your words

  • @ighforever The Holly Ghost is feminine. It represent's Jesus' Mother, Mary. If you don't believe me, go to a library and look it up. Its interesting how Christian churches hardly ever go out of their way to bring this to anybody's attention. It is also interesting that the Gospels of Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene have been excluded from the Bible. There are also other gospels that have been excluded from the New Testament. I*ll continue this in another reply,

  • @TheBrendabob The Holy Spirit is of the Father. Father, Son and Holy Spirit all God, separate, yet one, whole and complete. A mystery; But that is God. God is also a Spirit according to Scripture.

Mary was a chosen vessel to receive into the world the Messiah, the Saviour, the Son of God. Jesus has always been and was sent by his Father into this fallen world to Save us all! To pay the price of our sins, so we do not stand in the Judgement. And I thank him for that & return his Love.

  • @ighforever But whatever, I don't know why I'm even talking to someone who thinks evolution shouldn't be taught in schools and the universe was created in 7 days, local time.

  • @gariadara local time XD

  • @gariadara My children have told me that You Tube is pretty much a forum for nut cases, and have told me not to argue with crazy people. What is the expression, the only bigger fool than the fool who thinks he knows it all is the fool who argues with him?

  • @TheBrendabob I agree with that...nut cases are terrible to deal with. Especially Christian nutcases...it's like dealing with people from your high school that act stupid in public but it's worse cus your school is private and you wear the same uniform and everyone on the street assume you're just as stupid. I'm quite positive though that no Christian theologian of any school of thought will tell you that the Holy Spirit is .... a human woman named Mary.

  • @gariadara I'm going to have to do some more research regarding the Holy Ghost. The strange thing is that the minister at our church was a very well educated man and I respected him and believed pretty much what the church taught. Of course, as I started studying other religions I began to realize that I did not know all that much. At least we both agree the Holy Ghost / Spirit is female. Do you mind me asking what type of Christian church you attended? Mine was Presbyterian.

  • @TheBrendabob The Holy Spirit does not represent Mary. While it is described using feminine attributes, it is the Shekhinah, the feminine Presence of God, which had been a staple of Judaism before Mary's time.

  • @gariadara I was referring to the Holy GHOST that Christians are always mentioning in their prayers. I don't think most Christians have even heard the word Shekhinah before. I don't quite understand the concept myself, but my knowledge of Judaism is probably not what it should be.The only thing I really know is that the word is feminine. At this point, I don't much care either. The point is many Christians don't even know a great deal about their own religion, but I'm done arguing about it.

  • @TheBrendabob All Christians? or just the less educated but more vocal ones? I'm Christian. I know about the shekhina. They taught it in my Sunday School.

  • @gariadara I don't know if its only the less educated Christians. I went to Christian Bible school, sunday school and youth groups until I was 18 years old and was never taught about the shekhina by the church. I hate to think of myself as one the "less educated," but perhaps. I will tell you though, that when my daughter was in her teens she had a few friends who were from fundamentalist Christian families and I felt sorry for these kids. They were home schooled and almost illiterate.

  • fundies are just scary. It's like talking to a brick wall....imagine having never seen jurassic park cus your folks says dinosaurs are fictional. I went to many churches as I moved around a lot but they were all general evangelical churches. Some were baptist. Mostly I categorize myself as nondenominational. Technically, the Jewish equivalent of the Holy Spirit isn't the Shekinah but the Ruach haKodesh, literally Divine Spirit. This is the Spirit of YHWH, which is also of feminine gender.

  • @ighforever ( Continuing on Gospels not in the Bible) For example, a copy of the Gospel of Judas was found in a cave in the 1970's. Since then, it has been translated and proven to be authentic. Of course it has not become part of New Testament because it presents an interesting twist on the story of the crucifixion as it is told in the Bible. I will continue this in another comment.

  • @ighforever There are lots of aspects of your religion that you don't seem to know much about. Its probably not your fault, because there's a lot they just

don't make general knowledge. You have to search for the truth yourself. I'm just writing this to give you some information. I have no interest in arguing back and forth about religion. on U Tube. My daughers' both tell me I should not waste my time auguring with people on U Tube.

  • @ighforever To Continue: MY daughters tell me that U Tube is generally just a forum for nut cases, and that nothing I say is going to make any difference to anybody. However, if you ever do really have a question you sincerely would like answered, you can e-mail me through U Tube. Let me make it clear that I am not calling anybody who makes a comment on U Tube a "nut job," but I would agree that U Tube attracts more than its fair share of crazies, especially on Pagan sites. Blessed Be.
