I love these guys although I have to take exception to the notion that they've "created their own genre" having been around for the original inception of "New Wave" and bands like Talking Heads,Squeeze,Ian Dury and the Blockheads,Devo etc.

Actually at the time I wasn't really into this sound and appreciate it more from a distance and filtered through the inventive genius of bands like Late of the Pier who bring their own sonic identity to the party.

I think in this song there's 4/4 and 7/4, Hot tent blues is 3/4 then 4/4, and Heartbeat has 4/4 and 7/4 as well. Still I think the rest of the songs on the album are 4/4, though I could be wrong.
