You really need to stop comparing different vampire stories with each other. Just because there are similarities doesn't mean its a copy. Vampire stories have been around for centuries... If you do any sort of actual research, you're bound to find similar themes. Just enjoy it.

@Always316Forever yup i liked vampires before i read twilight too, but i'll admit, twilight was the thing that really got me hooked....i end up looking online for anything vampiric, tv, films, sometimes even animes...just, vampire stuff...lol...but the comparing thing really does annoy me, vampires have been around for who knows how long in all sorts of legends, stories, folklore, all sorts of things...vampires are not exclusive to Twilight. =)
