@20alphabet Actually, the original score that I used to have before losing it, was even shorter. I modified it by following the same key, timing and duration as the Original CD that I bought. Therefore, mine is a full and complete version.
This song is so awesome. If they ever remake this movie, they NEED to use this song in some way. I know a lot of this film was done in front of green screens. Wouldn't it be cool if they used footage of the old actors but added new digital effects?
do you know some program for PC for start to use my keyboard, i´m thinking in buy a usb to midi cable, but i need a program easy to use for create tracks or something.
@foxmulderv Sorry I can't comment on this topic as I am unfamiliar with MidiSeqencing software. I was on aware on Cakewalk....but there are other new applications available in the market right now. I don't use these softwares as I have to play the score live, without any help from softwares.
still can get programme floopy disc for Yamaha organ this day ? I cannot find it at my country , the salesman ask me change to new organ instead .. !! :(
I am not a musician or anything like that, but you did very good. It sounds just like the actual song. Love the movie by the way, and the song. Takes me back to my first school years. (nostalgia (lol)) Good job!
Oooo ... Thanks. I actually modified the score and matched it with my CD version that I have. Anyway this is not my clear version... I was using a cheap camera, that's why the sound quality is poor. I have a much clearer version that I have uploaded.
Amazing! I happen to have one --actually an HS8t-- that's available near Portsmouth, NH c/o vzept81dATmyfairpointDOTnet. (replace "AT" with a swoosh & DOT with a ".")
If I am correct, the HE-8 is a smaller version of the HS-8. Do you have any performance live without editing on the HE-8? Like to hear it out. Thanks.
I will have to make one. The reason is that I allways use an external drum machine via MIDI. The rhytm section of the HE-8 sounds a bit "plasticky". But my video "Heute schütte ich mich zu" is live and probably the one with most HE-8 in it.
ey..... i have that song played from Mina Nakagawa onlive in a concert on an electone 700... nice song, i like very much!!

Hate to be obvious, but shouldn't The Neverending Story be... well, longer? I mean, by definition it would be. Just sayin'.

Gee, I did not know that they released a HS-8T Version in the market. I wonder what's the difference between the "T" and the non T version?

Gee.. Thanks. I liked the fantasy based movie, so the song caught up with me.

The HE-8 has the same arpeggio. It suits this melody well and I also used this arpeggio when I played the same melody 8 years ago.

P.S how did you get the treble overlay. Did you pre play it and prgramme it in?
mattbod 3 years ago
It was all played live, no sequencer used. The little accompaniment was the the auto arppegio. I used lots of sustain.
takashi69z 3 years ago
Nice job. Yamaha HS-8:I wanted one of these so badly when I was a kid.
mattbod 3 years ago
That was a great performance. It is interesting to hear the difference between the EL-90 and the HS-8.
