going to washington dc from LA and I really want to fish at the potomac river but i have no boat. any tips? or address you guys can provide? I am going to be staying at maryland i believe. really need some tips any help?

Hey, if you want to fish Potomac,no boat, try wet wading north of Harpers Ferry.Lots of cats/smallmouth. Use tube jigs or live minnows. DO NOT wade south of there,not safe,up north it`s knee deep, unless we have lots of rain. Check river levels,be a good swimmer or wear life vest.

Around Williamsport & damn 5 areas are fished too much. Up in your part of the river is pretty good! Alot less people up there on a regular basis.

I almost caught a carp that big at the Monocacy when the current was fast & the water was high, on a boat ramp(where the water was calm), except when I got it close to land I got too careless, and when it touched the bottom of the ramp, it snapped right off...and whats with this audio preview? whenever I click it I don't hear anything.

you can, ive even seen some that big swimming alone the surface about 10 feet from shore. its just timing and luck.
