How Would You Rate Your Teachers in College?

How would I rate my teachers in college? Well, I could probably count on one hand the ones I actually liked and learned something from. The rest were either boring hacks who could so much as care less if the sun came up or foreigners who spoke piss-poor English and had shit for teaching skills!

Another thing I learned is that it pays to talk around. Find out which proffessors are worth a damn and which ones to steer clear of...you'll save yourself both money and misery by doing so!

RMP is not so useful. ANYONE can rate a prof: many times it's not students but angry neighbors etc.. We have a deceased prof with bad ratings at our University! Move your butts and visit profs b4 you take a class. Often profs will rate themselves negatively to avoid deadbeat students and/or large class sizes.

Every college student should know about this site. It really helped me when I signed up for spring semester classes a few weeks ago. We'll have to wait for the spring semester to actually start though to see if the ratings are true.

Sadly it's so that in this pathetic technologically-enforced concrete waste called modern life, a piece of paper determines a great deal of your future.

Unless you aim for certain craft specialization areas, and even then you don't have a high enough success rate, and especially not if "Books: Books hahahahahaah" is written on your profile.

i had a teacher that taught basic writing this year. she was very specific about how papers are worded and NEVER grades on a curve. after being in the class a few weeks i found out about half the class had taken her at least once before and failed. i ended up dropping the class because i thought i could handle it...wrong. her name is Laura Hayden Moreland, someone please get this woman fired.

Most of my lecturers are pretty good, bar my maths lecturer, I mean anyone who tells her students to shut up when they ask them a question, gets confused by simple arithmetic and even ignores some members of the group while paying attention to others is a pretty dire lecturer.

Woot! University of Northern Iowa ftw! I don't know if I know what professor that was, but I wasn't an English major. There were a lot of good professors at UNI across the board though. One of my favorites was Dr. Harry Brod.

Teachers poor at their given subject are all part of the fun! My IT teacher in college was dreadful, I was surprised she should even turn the computer on without her answer book. We did a whole class using paint once... I mean come on, who'd use paint for anything serious? Photoshop ftw!
