it has handled brushless pretty good so far, but we get lots of powder here so it is light and fluffy. no it isn't waterproof, the body keeps most of the snow out. i do have my receiver in a balloon

@jimbiss I am looking to get a blizzard. Lipo/ brushless is a must. Why doesn't anyone use the Traxxas brushless waterproof set-up? I know some people may not like Traxxas but they are built super tough to take the beating of a novice driver plus they are truly waterproof. Also where do you get the brushless set-up for the Blizzard? And what is the can size? Is it possible to use the novak big block 540 can?

Beautiful RC dude. Love the idea of brushless. I was thinking about getting the Tamiya CR01 73 Bronco, but this Blizzard looks like it is more fun. I'd love to know what would take more terrain, a CR01, modified Clod, or a Blizzard.

It does pretty good. Most of what we have here is just powder. I have put foam weather strips around the body to keep that out, it stays nice and dry,

Very awesome! How much do these retail for cause I could use one and for temporary use, since my Slash just went BL, I could use the Waterproof XL-5 from that and the Titan 550 12T and the stock reciever and transmitter cause I use Spektrum in the Slash now. Very cool video

hi.can you tell how fast it goes on ground. I used to install a GTB 6.5r on my DF300 but I was so disappointed. the speed was just about 1.5-2 times faster than stock and I even uput full set of ball bearings in both wheels and transmission of my DF300.........WHY?

With the brushless motor it is probably faster than the nitro powered version, or something like that.  100% of your torque is available as soon as the motor is moving. I get at least 20 to 25 minutes of runtime, by then its time to go inside anyways.
