I'm really struggling to just get my foot in the door. I went and got my STCW 95 around a month ago however it seems to be a vicious circle to find a placement somewhere. Most are looking to hire crew with experience but how do you get experience when they rarely hire "fresh" deck hands. Any help would be very much appreciated. ( i hope this made sense)

the easiest way to do it is to sign up to an agency which places crew on superyachts, also you need to get your STCW95 qualification, and then perhaps look into completing a interior/steward course. ^_^
