Think about this: Years ago, a working man earned enough money to support his entire family. Nowadays, both parents HAVE to work to maintain a decent living standard, taking time away from parenting, forcing their children to be watched at day care/school or at home watching TV/being entertained by technology. In my experience and opinion women do more house work because of their neurosis. they want things to be done at home in certain way. no geese spills on oven not crumbs on table no dust in corners, ect. I clean my place thoroughly every week but I can tolerate small uncleanliness around house but women have to have every thing in perfect condition.

@ImNotRacistImBias While I don't intend to take a side on this (I see nothing wrong with women working, I just wish the benefits women gained in work, men gained in family, but us men are denied that, ask any divorced father), I do need to point out a mother can't get up with the kids, send them off to school, then be home from work before they get off, unless she is working part time. There were, like, three openly queer kids in my high school of 500+. In my experience and opinion women do more house work because of their neurosis. they want things to be done at home in certain way. no geese spills on oven not crumbs on table no dust in corners, ect. I clean my place thoroughly every week but I can tolerate small uncleanliness around house but women have to have every thing in perfect condition.

@Eabranth School is about 6-8 hours a day. A mom at home just sits around waiting for the kids to get out of school, but a working mom may finish work by they time children are with school or activities. Is there really a difference in working in that block of time and just waiting for the kids to get home? Or are you saying moms need to home-school also? I would think if both mothers send the kids to school then they spend the same 5:30-8:30 time with them at night and some time in the morning

@ImNotRacistImBias While I don't intend to take a side on this (I see nothing wrong with women working, I just wish the benefits women gained in work, men gained in family, but us men are denied that, ask any divorced father), I do need to point out a mother can't get up with the kids, send them off to school, then be home from work before they get off, unless she is working part time. There is no full time job with such short hours. (then single parents need to get chores done sometime as well.

Just because she isn't in the house cooking and cleaning doesn't mean she has abandoned the family. People can have it all, and there are many making it work. I think it's unfair to say a woman isn't raising her children just because she pursues non-domestic activities, as if she stops being a mom.

There were, like, three openly queer kids in my high school of 500+.
