  • Is the gamestop xbox 360 controller any good?

  • @MaplekidFtw not at all. one of the worst controllers i have ever used. go with the microsoft branded controller

  • wireless is awesome with ps3 there isnt a hump and after i while i forgot about wires and one day i played on a ps2 and my dumb ass went to go to kitchenand i pulled the ps2 off the stand

  • @956Joeboy yea ps3 controllers are very light. i love them. and damn that sucks! does it still work?

  • @TheMule93x yeah them old fat ps2's are sturdy i just gave it to my friend his house burn down

  • but if the usb port on the wired controller messes up ur fked

  • @Nbamemories23 well obviously. u just gotta be careful. dont let ur pets chew it up and shit. ha

  • If your going to buy the wired controller in this video, do not buy the xbox 360 packaged controller. Microsoft sells the exact same controller in a red box and it is $10 then the xbox 360 packaging.

  • @camracerb Red box? never heard of it...

  • @TheMule93x Red Box ... Its the one for Pc's

  • @Games49oogle o nice. i've never seen that at any retail location. 30 bucks aint bad!

  • Does the wire get all mixed together?

  • @xVAxViZiOnZx not really. unless u throw it in a backpack and dont really care

  • hi i just bought the wired one and i was thinking about changing it for the wireless one.. but 2 hours of gaming? seriously? i have a ps3 and the controllers last me at least for one week 2 or 3 hours of gaming... what do you think?

  • @juankrlox wired one is the way to go but if u wanna waste 50 bucks plus another 20 for the battery pack be my guest. i have a ps3 as well. the batteries last me forever!

  • @TheMule93x so the xbox batteries are crap.. ill keep my wired controller then... one more question.. there are some sort of connections under the controller.. for what are those?

  • @juankrlox i think u are referring to the headset ports under the controller. thats for connecting headsets and u can also connect a Xbox chatpad to it as well

  • I have a question TheMule93x, did you ever use the original white wired controller? I have one of those, but its cord seems to be too bulky and thick, and it is also defective. After using it for a for a few months, I found that I could not even move the cord an inch without it disconnecting from the Xbox. There were no other problems with it, just the cord not working. I would like to get this wired controller, but I want to know if the cord is the same way.

  • @niteflash06 Yes I used the original white wired controller. The only problem i had with it was squeaky analog sticks. I haven't had any problems with the cord on my black wired controller. The cord seems really sturdy

  • Your right mule the hump on the back is annoying.

  • if the weight really bothers you, open the controller and remove the vibration rumblers. but if you do this you will obviously not have vibration after. but if you dont really care for vibration and you want a lighter controller go for it!

  • @theinterfan1 i actually did that last weekend. makes it feel like a ps3 controller. it sucks tho cause i dont have the right screwdriver for the wireless controller.for some reason the screws are different on the wired and wireless

  • I now think the wired controller is better.

  • How long is the cord? I sit a good distance away from my Xbox (I need to, the screen is so big that if I sat any closer I'd fry my eyeballs) and if it's too short is there any kind of extender thing?

  • @Spe7X I would assume that a standard female to male USB extension cable (like the ones I have at work and home) would work on the wired controller, since it's a USB connection.

  • @cazaimex Ah that makes sense, thanks.

  • @Spe7X the cable is 9 feet long. if u sit farther than 9 feet from ur tv, that must be hard to game.

  • @TheMule93x I sit about 14 feet away. It's not hard to game from there though, like I said the screen is huge. It's an HD TV too, so sitting further away doesn't make it harder for me to see small things on the screen. Thanks for the info anyways.

  • wired controller

  • I prefer response time over available distance.

Precision is key, and why would you want to play from a distance you can't even see the damn TV/Computer Screen from?

  • @ManofWario couldn't agree more!

  • Wired controllers are better because you can use them for your xbox AND PC!

  • I've had my TWO Razer Onza T.E. for 7/8Months and never had any probs with either!

  • @DAAAAkS yea the ONZA is a piece of shit. terrible controller for third person shooters.

  • I always hated the battery in the wireless controller dying in the middle of an online game.

  • I thought my battery sucked. But I've had mine for 5 years. You should get the charging station, it charges my batteries really quick

  • If you are extremly picky the wireless controllers response is quicker!!

  • @Gsson92 umm thats actually false. the response time is a little slower than wired controllers.

  • @TheMule93x sorry it did make sense im my mind for a moment, but thats what i ment!!!, THANKS!!! (not my first language)

  • @Gsson92 that is not true, in MLG all players use a wired controller.

  • @kipperfanonly That doesn't mean wireless is that much more terrible. MS needs to upgrade their wireless technology, although it is good. If you have interference however, you will definitely notice a marked lag difference. This is why at a tournament with up to 24 players playing at once, ofc they're not going to have a bunch of wirelesses going.

  • @gamefan4071 Some prefer wireless. I know a guy who destroys almost everyone and is better than me who plays wireless with 4.17 ratio in MW3. I prefer wired though. Lighter, and sometimes it does seem to turn/respond slightly faster. Depends on interference, without interference wireless has the exact same response.

  • In the top of the wireless controller is writen "XBOX360"?

    Mine is writen "microsoft"

  • @vermelhoz u pry have the controller that is meant for Windows PC.

  • @vermelhoz yes, this is it, thanks for the help!

  • good thank you

  • The Wire can break very easy

  • wouldn't make a difference, cuz either way, one needs batteries, and one cannot be wireless.

  • wal mart is in america too? your shitin me

  • @british123able ha yupp

  • @british123able Wal mart is actually a huge part of american society... some may even call it their church

  • @Spendude92 church? ha lol

  • @british123able do they have it outside USA?!

  • i like wireless so that i can keep talking to my friends on xbl while im walking to the kitchen to get a snack or while im on the computer plus i have a cat and they play with the wire and chew it up

  • Ur smart man.

  • wireless

  • Besides that wired is better.

  • Wireless is $40, wired is $30. I think Wired gives you red rings of death for a while.

  • Wired controllers respond a little bit faster but I use wireless controllers.

  • Personally I use a wireless controller but keep on switching round rechargeable batteries every 5-6 hours

  • i heard you can play games on your pc with a wired controller,i'm wondering if you can use the charger of the wireless contrller battery pack and pug it in to your pc and still play games?

  • @angrydognr1 i dont think that works. u need a dedicated wire to connect to the pc. im not 100 percent sure. try googling it

  • @TheMule93x i tried downloading drivers from windows but it didnt work,i just bought a wireless reciever from ebay,i hope it will work.

    thx for replying

  • @angrydognr1 the receiver should do the job. if not, i highly recommend purchasing a wired controller. there awesome!

  • @angrydognr1 When i got my controller i got a USB Cable with a Wireless button for Controller and a special cdcalled Xbox Accesories :3

  • I got the nyko charging dock for Christmas and the charge holds for so long.... I'm happy

  • wireless ftw. lol the wired one sucks. that wire is bullshit, after a month, maybe two that wire will come off, and maybe u spend a lot of money on this.. so... wireless better

  • @lilbigFIFAHD come off? what? i've had mine for over a year and its fine.

  • @TheMule93x yea me too. but see, hes retarded

  • @TheMule93x i've always enjoyed wired controllers mostly because they dont take batteries. whenever i run out of batteries, there is never any in my house. then i have to go to a store and buy batteries (which is a pain is the ASS)

  • Wireless

  • LOL i do the thing where you take the battery out and just power it with the plug in charger

  • @Craftsteen117 i did that for a while. kinda pointless though cause the damn hump in the back gets annoying and its pretty much a wired controller if you decide to do that

  • wired love wireless butt wastes batteries to damn much

  • wired all day

  • u must had some shit luck with ur wierless controllers 2h of gameing wow.. i problaby play about 5-6h a day (lol) and it still last for like a month :S

  • @P4Z3X yea i guess. my buddy has that wireless charging station and he gets lots of hours of gameplay

  • get Razer Onza Tournament Edition

  • @YMmaxcrazy bought it a while back and HATED it. terrible for third person games like Gears

  • @YMmaxcrazy I wanted that until I found out it breaks really easily and has durability issues.

  • @YMmaxcrazy what is the difference?

  • @YMmaxcrazy got 2!

  • thats why i use rechargable energizer batteries. they last me a good week without a single charge. fuck the battery pack...

  • @TheSpyChecker yea fo sho

  • Comment removed

  • if you use a wired controller with a decent head set when you talk it goes fuzzy so thats why i have a wireless

  • Red wings!

  • I prefer wired. Being that I use a playstation3, it doesn't have the hump, it doesn't break or damage when it falls onto the ground, and it has 4 to 6 hours of gameplay before the battery dies.

  • and if the buttons get sticky you can take it apart! the wirelesso ne requires specail bits to unscrew just a mess

  • lol also the wired controller can be used for pc thats why i like it

  • Get the NYKO batterie pack...... lasts twice as long and half the price!!!

  • Wireless

  • does a wired controller react faster?

  • @GBChriss lots of people say they do. i cant tell tho.

  • i use wireless because wen i play wired i shake the controler and then my xbox falls so tats why wireless

  • Nice Shirt

  • @SamtheSalmonn thanks. go wings!

  • i have both i like using the wired one in ma room and the wireless one when i take my xbox to my living room

  • @josueguzman602 yea i have both too. The wireless controllers are easier to move around.

  • 8 hours to charge t2o little AA batteries? imma stick with my wired controller

  • Wired controller is only $30 till this Friday only at bestbuy.com u have to buy online but if u want right away do Instore pickup and get right after you order

  • get a wired controller

  • You should get the wired controller

  • Where can you get the wire controller??

  • the wireless controller is best for when you are playing on a big screen like sony bravia tv and the wired controller is best for when you are playing on a small screen like 1360x768 to 1440x900 screen !!!!!!!!!:D

  • @HGAMES69 yea correct!

  • Is the wire controller is still out in best buy?

  • i have the wireles black and silver

  • i prefer the wireless one...

  • Um...get a battery charger and 2 chargeable batteries maybe? they ARE overpriced a bit but it's worth it..anyways that is just MY opinion...(IF You intend to do the same as me, I recommend buying Energizer REHCARGE batteries..you can get 2 of them packed inside the charger's package...)

  • Yes you are right the Wired controller is so much better because i hate it when your online then the wireless controller cuts out because the battery is low and you just fail its like no fair D: and also Wired controllers have Quicker reaction time and are as you said much lighter :D

  • @sn1pedyou I'm happy with my PS3 I've had Xbox 360 it's was ok but I think playstation is the best plus it has a. Better processor and chat pad not to mention Blu Ray and free net ShittyBox ooops did I say that right lmfao!!!!

  • get the wired, i've got it and i strongly recomend it, the wire is long and you dont have to worry about the batteries dieing! :D

  • @Nitroliam indeed!

  • Thats weird my PS3 wireless controller last 13 hours or more on a full charge and I've had it a year already!! Smh Xbox 360 fanboys

  • @1977Brehon lol yea xbox 360 controllers should be similar to the ps3 controllers. battery pack built in would be sweet!

  • @1977Brehon yeah my ps3 controller stays charged longer than my xbox controller... too bad thats the only thing sony got right..... worst thing i have ever bought, 400 dollar dust collector with good battery life LMFAO

  • excuse me guys,, is the black wired controller is an imitation?

because i have it an when i go to some xbox store they said it's imitation and there is no black "wired" controller

  • @mraskingz I have absolutely no idea what ur trying to say...

  • @mraskingz It's an official Xbox controller, the black wired is not a "fake" it's a official microsoft controller, buy it on amazon.

  • @mraskingz There are no wired black controllers because they only come with the OLD xbox 360 Elite, So you have to buy the old 360 Package to get one.....

  • signals move faster thru wires no matter what to. if its noticeable or not is another story just like the most expensive router is never as fast as direct cable to console.

  • the wireless controller is like 50-60 bucks sadly

  • @TheTyler0953 yea huge ripoff

  • Are wired 360 controllers compatible with pc?

  • @Master45503 yes

  • Are you from Michigan?

  • @GldenRetriever yupp

  • @TheMule93x cool i used to live in good old michigan

  • @InsanePwning nice.

  • wired=old school=me likey ;)

I have a question though, will it run into issues if i keep it always connected to my pc which is on most of the time?

  • @prabhatkaushik no i've been playing battlefield 3 on my pc with the wired controller and have no problems yet.

  • @TheMule93x hmm meaning you've left it connected to your pc at all times? that's what i wanted to ask...

  • @prabhatkaushik its not going to harm the controller if u leave it connected to the pc at all times. you will still be able to unplug it and use it for the 360 with no problems

  • @TheMule93x alright thanks

  • The wireless controllers are heavier which allow me to throw them farther when I rage. Personally, I prefer the wired controller because I tend not to throw things that are connected to my xbox.

  • @WindsPlague haha very true!

  • @WindsPlague lol

  • @WindsPlague ahah :')

  • wired baby nuff said the battery pack messes with my hand they are hella big

  • Can the wired controller vibrate? Can I plug it in the USB ports at the back instead of the two imfront?

  • @268WrightJamal yes and yes

  • Im getting the wired, Why the fuk should i be buying new bateries every week

  • honestly battery life isnt a problem for me and neither is cost i have recharageable batteries and they last me a week on a full charge :3 xD and personally i like the heavier feel the lighter feel kinda feels cheapy to me which is also why i dont like my ps3 controllers to much xD

  • @partyguy245 yea its a matter of personal opinion. i myself like light controllers.

  • wired has a faster responce time

  • @MrJfpb That's actually wrong, the response time is exactly the same on both wired and wireless, you should look into it.

  • wired

  • ooh... the irony when he pulls out a wireless mouse :3

  • @dbzandrs2 0:

  • @dbzandrs2 Most wireless mouses you replace the battery every 6 months: instead of every few hours.

  • i prefer the wired remote

  • Wired better :)

  • REDWINGS FUCKKING HELL YEAH zetterberg is a beast

  • @SquallyHD hell yea man. excited for next year!

  • i prefer Xbox 360 wireless cases one because i have 6 wireless boards and one wired and i can't find a wired shell any where and if you wonder y i have so many controllers just check out my channel now if anyone knows where i can get wired cases in large amounts plz send me a message

  • @ShyRussian no idea dude. That gears of war battery pack is sick tho!

  • @TheMule93x I am about to post my gears of war controller

  • wireless is better for fps

i tried wired and played mw2

i cant evenget use to the triggers

  • the wired won is bettr for your middle fingers becuz if you play too much then ur fk u fingers get numbed then you can go around giving out your fk u's

  • Believe it or not i had multiple windows open showing different videos and i think i accidentally posted that comment on this video, I had no intention of trolling on ya man, my bad :(, Someone else was talking about a few problems they were having with their controller when they were comparing the two and they made their decision on it based upon that, my bad mule. :(

  • @seth364 not a problem dude.

  • Seems to be a bit biased towards the wired due to your faulty product :(

  • @seth364 dont be trolling bro. its not faulty. wireless conch works fine. i just prefer the wired one :)

  • The Wireless controller is only $34.99 on Amazon right now and the wired one is only $29.99.

    Im getting the wired one...

  • @afterlifeproducer good move!

  • @TheMule93x WIRED OR WIRELESS?

  • good video, Microsoft can't make reliable rechargeable batteries, use Sanyo's.

  • im want the wired but i need $

  • Nice video, good quality.

I also like the wired controller because of the weight, I have even taken the rumble packs out of my controllers to reduce weight since I don't like vibration anyway.

  • @burnturn923 shout i forgot to mention the rumble packs. yea i hate the vibrations as well. wired controllers are the best!
