@Kev2380 I use a 'SanDisk SANSA Clip Plus refurbished' ... GOOGLE that to see an image and description of what it is.
I clip it to my shirt just above my navel to catch my vocal highs and diaphragm lows for good sound recording. Audio stream requires retiming (using Audacity open source software) before dubbing onto video stream.
NOTE: refurbishing is done by SanDisk and the units are essentially brand new (based on having bought three altogether).
@adamitshelanu Thanks Steve. That timing part sounds tricky. So literally you are only recording audio from this device then redubbing your video with that audio?
What kind of mic are you using?

@Kev2380 The answer is "yes." I'm sending you a private message with details of why and how I do it, in case you find it of use.
BTW it's tricky only at the stage of figuring it out. After you do it a few thousand times (like me), it is just boring, but necessary.
