Nick wrote this tune and produced the original recording by Elvis Costello. I have been a fan of Nick's for long and to me, this is the best

"LIVE" version of this song I've ever seen performed.Better than the ones with Paul Carrack and John Hiatt together, or the slower cuts with Benmont Tench or Elvis Costello.

In any case this version is fast, and the pianist looks like none other than Paul Carrack himself. Also, Nile's tasty and country-flavored guitar solo fits well.

Yeh, that was a long time ago, wasn't it. I haven't watched either channel in years because they took the "music" out, and replaced it with "$hit".

Amen! Who watches that $hit anyway? After the 80s were over, I never thought I would miss music videos so much. Or synthesizers and drum machines for that matter. Actually we digress since this song is very pre-MTV.
