As the show progressed, however, he went from serious 3/4 of the time to serious 1/16 of the time. Either way, Eric is by far my favorite character.

What I don't understand is Cory and Topanga weren't always in love. In the first season he actually didn't really like her. I know it's a goof but what I don't understand is why didn't writers just include he didn't always love her when they mention their romance. It wouldn't have hurt the story line, in fact it could have made it more romantic like "I never thought I would fall in love with you but I did" (a potential Cory line) I don't know why they did it that way it is weird.
