As has been said a million times...Elvis is THE KING. I saw him live on March 23, 1977 in Tempe, AZ when I was 7. I remember a lot - not all, but I was in awe, even as a youngster at what the man I'd heard on my parents' records could do when standing right in front of me.

yes elvis had it all that true. except for one thing, his (freedom). i guess we all just loved him so much it killed him. saidly i do believe this, maybe that's the price you pay for being truely great all away around. it's sad really i mean when you think about it, just how many singer's are loved that much.

this concert was in 1972, not 1977...his clothing wasn't 1960ish....it was stylish for it time......Standard clothing wouldn't have matched then the new Elvis......

Remember this... 1977 allready had people wearing modem clothes.. due to the fact 1977 was almost the 80s and in the 80s people wearing modem clothing.. nothing of that flair pants and large things around the neck... that is like old fashion of the whole 60s course in the late 70s that stuff was change to a much modem living style of clothing. Strange enough sometimes some clothes of the 80s looks like yet todays clothing in 2011 at most things.. normal clothing. 1977 wasnt that old in time

Question: Whats with elvis presley wearing unusual suites all the way till 1977? why didnt he ever wear normal modem clothes in 1977 in his concert.. u know 1977 was just around the corner to be the 80s and the late 70s and the early 80s people didnt dress up like the 60s but somehow his costumes looked like the 60s even tho it was 1977 still with his old fashion? its interesting though. He could of been wearing modem clothes in 1977 in his concert because 77 wasnt that old times at all.

@Rumor100 Yes he actually wear an awesome and pretty trent full black bikey leather suite. And infact if you watch the (elvis come back special videos...) you might notice what his wearing and it just feels like he was in the 80s sort of to speak because the suit he was wearing looked quite modem.. nothing like it the end of the 60s really. Because today you still see this sort of leather black suite when a biker rides his motor. And i gues it is still trendy still then and noe in 2011

@Rumor100 Not sure that was the case. An interesting thing few know is that the jumpsuits weighed a lot. People that have held them have tended to question how he could have moved as smoothly as he did wearing the jumpsuits.

@HanSomKan1 The original idea behind wearing jumpsuits was because he could move freely. However they did eventually get all gem stoned up and decorated to great extremes and thus weighed alot. But the original idea was ease of movement.

@apoltut12 I think it was released worldwide, you should be able to get it from Amazon (the american version has a nice book-like sleeve) just check your DVD players NTSC capable, otherwise get it from the U.K. or Australia.

The release date for " Elvis - On Tour " is Aug. 3 , 2010 . Get yours as I'm sure they will all be sold out soon as they come out . I'm gonna reserve mine tomorrow.
