If you love Amber you will LOVE The Chronicles of Amber faux-trailer you can find to the right.

I'm sure that one of the greatest-desires-in-life of every true Amber fan is The Chronicles of Amber on film. But only if it's done properly, of course. Thankfully, Peter Jackson showed, hopefully, everyone that the best way to make a great movie is to stay as true to the source material as possible.IMO, Corwin's story would neatly fit into 2 movies, titled

Nine Princes in Amber

The Courts of Chaos

I had no idea this existed! I feel like I'm in a feverish dream and I'm afraid I'll wake up :).

On a side note, because of the physical likeness, I always thought Zelazny's voice would be like Earl Boen's (Dr. Silberman from the first three Terminator movies). Now, listening to his actual voice, the first guy who comes to mind is Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost). Which is fascinating, because Holloway definitely wouldn't be out of place in an Amber movie (Bleys, perhaps)

I met Roger Zelazny at ICON at SUNY stony Brook years ago when I was still in high school. I had read these books and he was doing a reading for a book yet to come out at that time. It was such an honor to hear him read his own words and I still hold the Amber novels among the best I have ever read. The only books I compare them to are Dune and Lord of the Rings.

I have read all 10 of the Amber Novels. A friend named Sherman turned me onto the first one. Little did I know that it would launch me into the heart of that world (via reading). I got to meet Roger at a Sci-Fi convention where he read Chapter 1 of his coming book, "Trumps Of Doom".

@aramilalpha I am a big big fan of Roger zelanzy and I have been looking out for a movie or video game on this for sooo long. Anyway, I just created a Chronicles of Amber wiki called Amberpedia. So far I havent met anyone who has read the books. I'm not very goot a wikis but I could use all the editors that are interested. If your interested in helping edit check out the page

@orangeshadow83 I could probably edit some things for you but I refuse to do anything more than that only because I've been working on a complete annotated amber for about 2 years now. I'm only through book 6 but I'm not ready to go public as I may be publishing it as a book in itself.

@aramilalpha really no sence in going beyond book 6, they are really not that good after that! but I still love them ofcourse, I've read them about 6 times:P
