dude you know what ill help you my science teacher answered that question for us one time so i will ask him and help you out i just forgot what he said though
If the windows are up in the car then the air molecules have the same speed as the car so the fly will move at the car's speed just by hovering as no 'outside' forces are acting. If there are no windows then the fly would have to fly against the moving air. Just like if you had a helium balloon in a car. it would float to the roof but if the windows were open it would get blown to the back of the car. (Also we are assuming the car is not accelerating anymore, it has constant speed)
LEASE RITE BACK 2 THIS
rite here we go, me and my friends are arguing about this
if a hover fly was hovering in the middle of a car that was traveling at 90mph
does that mean that the fly is flting with the car at 90mph or is it just hovering at staying within the inside if the car??????
if i dint fly at all tho the fly would crash into the back of the car
soo stressfull pleae sum1 rite backwith a bit of sence please
im 14 so no complicated things
