I'm actually pretty glad I've never had to go through a tornado. I've been through three watches and one storm that I thought would end up in a tornado but nothing has ever happened.

I've always wanted to see one, but not that close.

@firemonkeysrule Well the vast majority of the tornados in that region NE Colorado are landspouts. They're basicly waterspout type vortices that form over land. Most are not true supercell born tornadoes with mesocyclones. Landspouts tend to do EF-0 or maximum EF-1 damage. There are rare cases when they strike urban areas and cause up to EF-3 damage.
