Will this phone still get Internet if your bot on wifi and you don't have 4g in your area? I heard that it automatically connects to 3G but is just slightly slower. Is this true?

I'm puzzled. By recommendation, which one would you prefer, the Lg Esteem or Samsung's Indulge. With the price drop for the indulge, it has peeked my interest but my big set of hands, I've been told to go for the esteem and I want to know is it worth the price. Can you give the biggest pro and con for both, outside the battery because the two each suffer from that issue.

The whole smooth video playback is a HUGE breakthrough for metro standards. Ive seen the optimus m, huwawei m835, and indulge in action. They play a youtube vid for a sec then stop to buffer. The Esteem is just tremendously strong.

@MrOGseed I recommend a belt clip (which is what I've used since day one). I actually like it better because your phone isn't smashed against your leg all day. And, it's a lot easier (and you can be sneaker!) to remove the phone since you don't have to kick out your leg to free it from your pocket. I recommend going to a cell phone store or accessory store (like bestbuy) and just try different clips to see which one fits and looks nice.

@chibixaileen I get occasional lag, but it's not too bad. One thing that does irritate me is the delay for ending calls. You press the end button and it takes a good three seconds to register. Occasionally I will be calling the wrong person (human error) and I cannot end it before it rings. Otherwise, the phone is great!

I know is to test browser speeds. But you didnt get my point.What i said is, most of the reviewers are using a wifi connection while testing a phone's browser.And to prove a phone's browsing, downloading and uploading speeds.They all should use Carrier's connection instead. Because as an example i connect my sisters huawei phone to my verizon's droid incredible hotspot.And the phone browses very fast,when in reality it doesnt. Wifi boosts cell phone's browsers, and makes them look speedy phones

@polluelo20032002 The pages will load faster yes, but the phone still has to process the webpage. Try searching iPad vs Kindle browser speeds on the same WiFi network and you will see what I mean. The iPad is nearly 2x faster.

Why always browsing speeds are done on Wifi. This is not a way to show a phone's potential. Cuz wifi makes a phone to appear faster than what it really is. Reviewers should always use carriers network
