I think the TV-B-Gone sort of makes us realize how much we're hypnotized by television. You put the TV on in a room, and people start focusing on it and conversation dies, ideas don't get expressed and we just become passive consumers. There is a use and a time for TV. There is also a time when TV is pollution instead of inspiration or entertainment.
