My Clear Alternatives filled up with water and the company went bankrupt and has switched ownership so I lost out on the lifetime warranty. The video is hokey though as you are viewing a filthy clear alternatives from an angle, leds are very directional. I replaced the CA with a Custom LED which is far superior in my opinion and much brighter.

@ChucksTrucks The Custom led is flashing too fast or "hyper flashing" because the proper load resistors have not been installed. To simulate the load of the old 25 watt bulb use a 25 watt 6 ohm resistor in place of each bulb removed.

There is no video editing. I used to sell both brands and put them side by side. Everything from the lenses to the LED quality is way off on the other brand. Check them out for yourself in a lighted environment.

The bike on the left's tail light has been obviously blurred. Check out the black area beneath the light compared to the bike on the right which is crystal clear. Are you the owner of Custom LED?

Test is not fair, the one on the right is clear and the one on left is tinted so of course it's not going to look as bright.

@madmio No it's not. I had a Clear Alternatives, that is NOT the smoked model. CustomLED is by far superior. The only reason I got rid of it for a motodynamic was to get a smoked tail. CustomLED>Motodynamic(good product)>Clear Alternatives (sucks)>LP (absolute garbage)
