Smdh...this garbage...why are they all fat, old and dark skinned? Im tired of seeing black women in the 21st century portrayed as mammys unless theyre mixed....this movie trivializes and down plays the sexual advances/harassment that these women endured.

I loved the movie, from beginning to end. Superb writing, acting, directing, cinementography, costumes and then we get this amazing song by Mary J. Bilge. I haven't seen a movie in the theater since, Dreamgirls, and this, this was worth the wait, (and the $10 popcorn).
