  • Climate skeptic? = ill-informed

  • Snow in the winter is not a particularly good argument... If You consider Earth's orbit, variable distance to the sun and axis tilt, you get a proper cause of the seasons. That being said, the pollution and CO2 emissions shouldn't affect our winter holidays. It would be wise however to consider health issues (CO2 is only life giving gas if You're capable of photosynthesis) and the fact that fossil fuel resources are NOT sustainable, and they WILL run out sooner or later - alternative is needed.

  • If you think about it, the economic breakdown in the western world has only started since we had this so called globle warming. just another excuse to tax us more and more. when will people get it, the world is cooling not getting warmer, how difficult is it to get this into peoples thick fucking heads

ITS ALL ABOUT TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX

  • what an idiot!!!

  • I love this guy!

  • Godfrey Bloom is quite right. The CO2 scam is yet another excuse for corrupt liar politicians to get their hands on our hard earned income via yet more taxation.

  • i like this guy more and more

  • Global warming can only be enforced by theories and scare tactics, not facts or common sense.

  • fuck you old man, global warming is REAL!! REEEAAAALLL!

  • @MacZambrottVEVO

Get your head out of the clouds mate, youve been brainwashed.

Back down here on Earth, the thermometers say that you are wrong.

  • @Besetho That`s why we had one of the warmest winters in the last decades...

  • i love this guy. he's the man!!!!

  • I trust in Man-made Global Warming Consensus ($), don't you?

Money! More money! Loads of money!! -- It's getting warmer, don't ya feel?

  • Oh shit! Snow still exists!? Well I guess that proves it... Who cares about what all these so called "climate scientists" think, right?

Jesus fucking Christ; not everything is a conspiracy you goofy fucks

    97%... get shit on

  • @rtisdell lol, that was not the main argument. Watch the video again and maybe you will catch it this time.

  • Anthropogenic Global Warming, a scam courtesy of Bilderberg, GE, and the covert communists in the various "green" parties. What a coalition! And the Danaos' gift from Honnecker, FDJ-Merkel, now also promotes it: Her effect on West Germany is worse than 15,000 T80 and 30,000 BTR60s/BMPs.

  • You know plants breathe carbon. If it were actually a problem (which it's not), giving your cash to bloated, selfish bureaucrats would simply make you more poor and them more rich.

  • global warming is bullshit it is.

  • This assertion is not helpful in a room full of socialists.....because they're thinking.....oh yeah.....more taxes....that's an added benefit....

  • CO2 only increases after the warming, not the other way around.

  • EU = UESR (Union of European Socialist Republics)

  • Hes right on... its a SCAM!! a TAX SCAM!

  • co2 being 200,00 times greater would not mean the effect would be increased by that magnitude, we are talking about a sphere so the effect is calculated in relation to that fact, there is a lot more going on at Venus such as volcanic activity that could have been spurred on by the onset of a sharp spike in the average temperatures

  • nice. Naaah I don't think tha this is just because the government is sooo evil abnd wants more money, but maybe partially...yes

  • I love how this "Carbon Footprint" thing came out of NOWHERE. Just one day, BAM! "Carbon footprint. Carbon footprint." It is a scam. We need to be responsible with this earth, but PEOPLE > TREES.

  • RIP man caused global warming 2009

  • @GreenChurchReject

There is no global warming caused by man.

  • Comment removed

  • STOP THE FUCKING MAFIA CO2 TAX IN UK!!! TAX THE FUCKING SOOT IN DIESELS!!!! - THERES YOUR SOLLUTION TO CLEAN AIR!!!!!!

  • omg, muse in the intro!! and bloom is awesome too

  • For all you global cooling deniers:

So, why did "The ice caps melting will drown you all", master AGW crook Al Gore buy a sea level condo in San Francisco for $4 million dollars?

Seems the man does not believe his own lies.

  • This man, like of the rest of the UKIP rabble, is an affront to democracy and civilized society. I would like to offer my sincere apologies to all German people in respect of his disgusting antics this week.

  • wow. what a retard. in so many ways...

  • Whatever the broader merits of his politics his understanding of the science is completely shitty.

  • shame on Bloom

  • to bad he totally lost his sense with the stupid hitler-remarks because i definitely agree with him that the whole global warming debate is out of line.

  • how much is he paid by the industry?

  • im a geman , can i vote him ?

  • @riba199

If you like "Ein Reich , ein Volk ein Füher", go and vote for him. This man is a clown.

  • what a cock

  • The problem with politicians is that when they lie, most of the population don't realize it. They think that politicians are in their high posts because of their truthfullness and high moral standards. It's quite the opposite; Lies, betrayal and greed has brought most of the high ranking politicians to their respective posts.

Al Gore is just one of them, using lies about global warming because of greed and an urge to make sensation and money.

  • what a douche. thats fucking all we need, some british fag spewing bullshit like CO2 doesnt cause global warming. GET YOUR HEAD OUTTA YOUR INDUSTRIAL ASS!!

  • @gerby90: Now I understand! The planet Venus is so hot because the CO2 atmosphere is actually a coolant. :P Thank you, Mr. Bloom, for this thermodynamics lesson. Maybe you could also tell me your latest plans for a perpetuum mobile.

  • @albedoshader he didn't say CO2 was a coolant. He said it's not a pollutant. He also said the earth appears to be cooling. You put the two together.

  • @albedoshader The planet Venus is hot because it's the second planet from the Sun. The greenhouse effect of CO2 would pale in comparison to that simple fact...

  • @Stryyda: There's one planet that's nearer than Venus - Mercury. Now let's check Mercury's surface temperatures. According to your theory Mercury has to be a lot hotter (4 times hotter) than Venus because it's half as far away from the sun.

    Highest temperature on Mercury: +420°C

Compare this to Venus' surface temperature of over +460°C, although Venus gets only 25% of Mercury's solar irradiation.

The greenhouse effect on Venus is a fact. Learn some thermodynamics.

  • @albedoshader Venus's atmosphere is 95% CO2 and it's atmospheric pressure is 92 times greater. So that's ( (95 / 0.04) * 92 = 200,000 ) times more CO2 per unit volume than on Earth. Of course you're gonna have intense warming then. That doesn't mean an increase from 0.04 to 0.06 percent over the next 100 years on Earth will lead to catastrophic warming.

  • @ScootleRoyale: First of all your arithmetic implies there's a linear relationship between temperature and CO2 pressure/fraction in the atmosphere, which is not the case. Secondly your calculation also silently implies that the effect on earth would have to be about 1/200000th of the effect on Venus, which again is not the case. You don't say this directly but both your calculation and your implication are incorrect. You don't take any hetat conductivity etc. into account.

  • @albedoshader: Sorry, I mean heat conductivity. Another important difference is the venus has a synodic period of roughly 116 days, that's about 1/2 venus year. Another interesting effect is that Venus would be even hotter without the eternal cloud cover. The clouds reflect a great percentage of sunlight back into space. This effect also wasn't taken into account by you.

On earth the greatest amount of heat is radiated back into space at night in the form of infrared radiation.

  • @albedoshader: That's simple thermodynamics. So the thermal equilibrium (depending on current low CO2 fractions) doesn't need as much CO2 to be shifted towards other temperatures, be it towards higher or lower temperatures is another story.

  • @albedoshader You just put words into my mouth I never said "CO2 is 200,000 times more concentrated on venus, therefore the greenhouse warming on earth should be 200,000 times less" I was simply responding to your argument. You were the one comparing earth to venus, not me. I know the relationship between CO2 and temperature is more logarithmic/inverse, not linear. In fact I think that's the strongest reason the alarmism is aload of nonsense.

  • bravo.sir i salute you! HIZZAH,HIZZAH,HIZZAH! 8)

  • This message needs to be broadcast into every livingroom. Thank you Mr. Bloom.

  • Dear Mr. Godfrey Bloom and all that think similar!

It terrifies me to see how science and its messages seems not to be understood to the slightest extend to so many of our time. The mechanism behind the greenhouse effect of CO2 is well understood since more than one hundred years. Also it is alarming, that there still are decision takers, that do not understand that climate and the weather is not at all the same.

  • It is so easy to put up big words and to tear apart a well established knowledge that is represented in thousands of scientific papers and reports.

So please – if you do not want to be suspected of illiteracy or bribery – please find sounder arguments for your case. And if you go and look for those arguments in sound science – you will find that the planet is about to confront us with an answer itself.

  • @guldisloo11

CO2 levels rose quickly during the Permian period and declined again during the Cretaceous period. Does this imply dinosaurs caused a global warming by burning fossil fuels?

In all seriousness, even science knows little about all workings of nature and discovers new things almost daily. Despite what you think it is NOT a proven fact that the current global warming is caused by humans alone, as co2 levels and temperatures rise and fall quickly all the time during history.

  • @guldisloo11

Furthermore, what is your solution to it? We can't get all our power from alternative energy sources (yet) and the only solution to a co2 problem caused by humans alone is by stopping co2 usage altogether ..

Perhaps go back to the old days when we didn't have cars or electricity?

And do you eat meat? Did you know cows are responsible for a lot of global warming?

  • C02 is a life giving gas not a pollutant.

The green agenda is political in nature.....using scar tactics to gain political power.

  • this guy used to work for the European Oil agency

  • Isn't global warming a bit like saying, "The water in the ocean is ruining the seas"?

  • Yeah, the globe has been cooling since 2002? WTF. What's next? The globe has been cooling since the last month? Yeah, everybody understands of climate science. No need to spend years studying and doing research.

  • So is this guy a scientist? How many climate scientists did he talk to and how many research papers did he read in order to get his statistics?

Or is this guy just spewing out the same crap as Lord Monckton?

Statistics is a difficult subject and research papers, especially with statistical analysis are often difficult understand for the average layman.

If you put any of these claims to an actual scientist, there are simple explanations to all of them.

  • @blabby102 You don't need to be a scientist to know bullshit when you see it. Just as you don't need to be a surgeon to know if a surgeon has killed his patient, or a car mechanic to know if the mechanic has fixed your car.

  • nice accent sir.

  • Godfrey Bloom well done sir

  • 8/21/2010 - Notice how Al Gore has been in hiding since his scam has been exposed.

  • @DONGOE The evil Oil corporations are pushing global warming so they can get cap and Trade passed. The Global warmers are oil shills

  • @DONGOE yea he's hiding out with osama bin laden

  • Well.. too fucking late for that!

  • u fukin tell them cunts bloom!

  • I've have disscused this issue with Godfrey Bloom online. I got in touch with him, he replied and I corrected the points that he made and I asked for a reply, twice. And you know what, he had never got back to me.

  • Godfrey Bloom any global warming is caused by all the HOT AIR you produce when you speak!

  • Recently, I heard us free thinking skeptics referred to as anti environmentalists. I wanted to correct this person, but in doing so I would have been humiliated and not believed, as most other people in the room were left wing alarmists. And today, a rather uneducated left wing idiot told me I and UKIP were racist (heard it all before). Only the uneducated think that. UKIP is Britain's salvation.

  • it's funny how these Man-made global worming fanatics went in a frenzy about Swine flew it just shows how naive they are.

  • The IPCC’s latest report, Climate Change 2001, actually says about predicting the future climate: “The Earth’s atmosphere-ocean dynamics is chaotic: its evolution is sensitive to small perturbations in initial conditions. This sensitivity limits our ability to predict the detailed evolution of weather; INEVITABLE ERRORS AND UNCERTAINTIES in the starting conditions of a weather forecast amplify through the forecast. So HOW can this accurately represent anything?

  • Except...he's wrong.

  • What a douchebag, he should do some research before he runs his vagina all over the place.

  • What a twat, honestly ... and I thought people from BNP are the biggest loosers there, seems like UKIP sent their man as well!

  • NIce use of Ad hoc arguments. Pure rhetoric, no substance. I could have written the same speech using techniques I learned in advanced rhetoric classes. Start a speech with complements. Imply a normative belief. Imply common sense. Implicate an expert. Implicate similarity with the audience. Ad hominem those who disagree.

  • Now if he wants to join the realm of science, he needs to behave like a scientist in his argument style. Science has a way of mitigating rhetoric and getting to the substance of an argument. To start, if he wants to elevate his argument to realm of science, he needs to elaborate what independent science. You must always name your sources in science. If you don't name your sources, you've lost all your credibility.

  • @rytallica898 Are you saying he lost all credibility because he didn't cite his sources in the small window of oppertunity he had to speak his mind. Here's a novel idea, email his office and ask for the sources instead of presuming he hasn't seen the data.

  • @daliOtter Sorry for the 6 months late response. I don't habitually check my comment responses.

Any argument can include abbreviated references, e.g., "Researchers at university of chicago suggest...", or "Squire and Wilkins, 2008, found evidence that...". The second or so needed to say that outweighs anything you can cram in your short speech. It gives people interested in the substance of an argument a lead to follow.

  • @daliOtter I've debated countless scientists, we use abbreviated references all the time. Almost nothing argued means anything without them.

How about this. I will email his office. As a scientist, I know that if his office produces references to credible evidence published in a credible, PEER-REVIEWED journal, it will overthrow my views. If however, as I expect, his office either doesn't produce evidence or produces evidence from a crack-pot journal, it will merely confirm hypothesis.

  • @rytallica898 Good idea! Ask for credible, peer-reviewed journals! I think all of so-called global warming deniers totally agree. Perhaps you could do some effort as well by looking up some credible sources instead of bothering a politicians secretary for that. Just choose between one of the many thousands of climatologists' credible, peer-reviewed journals and start digging. However i'm not sure you will, as your probably just writing this to try to justify your comments.

  • @DestinationUnknownNL

Follow the money. They had a remit, ordered and paid for by their masters. If they failed. Tenure will be ended.

This is not science. This is blackmail!

Al Gore would NOT combine the ice data he showed of CO2 against temp. because it would blow away any presumption of CO2 creating temp. changes. Its the other way round!

Don't believe me? YOU DO IT!

  • @rytallica898 He had a very small time to speak... Are you saying all scientists have to argue the same way?

  • @puremager369 Sorry to reply 6 months late — I rarely check responses to my comments. That said, I am in fact implying all scientists must argue in a defined way. Arguments in science occur in the realm of data and peer-review. Every public argument I've ever had in science has happened by trading theory and sources. Nothing that person says has ANY gravity without a source. That's the way it goes in science.

  • what he's saying is so good to hear because its so right.

  • what a cool guy

  • Bloody well right mate!

  • Hopefully, one day, those that pushed this pseudo-science will be held accountable. Starting with the "honorable" Al Gore, who is surprisingly out of sight these days...

  • I like this guy because he shows up the EU parliament for what it really is...A JOKE!!!

  • Greetings from Florida - where it's still too cold to go out without a jacket.

  • i hope all the anti-EU elements get on board the global warming denialism train of irrationality and undermine all aspects of their insular, backward policies.

  • Yep, government will profit more from "clean energy" than they would by merely planting trees.

  • He got it!

By the way, look at all these empty seats in the Parliament (notably those normally occupied by the corrupt political class) and think of how much they get paid out of our pockets...

  • YES

  • Well if global warming is taking place, it has bugger all to do with us. I heard that some volcano in the Philippines exploded and erupted for two years. In that time, it gave off more CO2 than we have produced since civilisation began!

  • P.S. also Scotland has had the best snow for skiing in about 30 years and my parents have been almost housebound due to the snow and ice.

  • lmao you're completely wrong.

  • Oh really? Do explain what I said that was so wrong.

  • "Volcanic CO2 presently represents only 0.22% of anthropogenic emissions" lifted straight from a published article

volcanoes release on the order of 200 Mte/yr of CO2, while human CO2 releases from fossil fuels alone were estimated at 8.7 Bte/yr (source: CDIAC)

but you heard some volcano in the Philippines exploaded and gave off more CO2 than from when civilisation began right???? the propensity of CC denialists to believe everything their little echo chamber of blogs spews out is incredible.

  • I agree! No such thing as "global warming"... Governments just want your money!

  • I completely agree with UKIP on everything apart from this......Checkout Potholer54's profile if for some reason you're fucking stupid you think global warming isn't happening. Or read some scientific journals or papers...

  • Agree with you there. Potholer54 or Greenman3610 are both informative

  • Hail godfrey bloom, thats bang on the money, GLOBAL WARMING IS A SCAM !

  • Scam?

  • Good to know someone is saying something besides normal rablle like nothing is going on.

  • He was referring to the sinking, not the death.

I am pretty certain virtually nobody recalled a person died in the bombing.

But alas now everyone is an expert on the subject.

  • @feijoa37 you sound like a rite mug!!! you call him a cunt, but i think your a cunt!!! what ya gota say about that??

  • i hope your English lessons are going well.

  • what fucking lol idiot whahahahahaha

    mORRon goddamn

  • That was awesome. Good man right there!

  • He is great, I love him :D

  • Why?

  • @Tvdhakla because there is no such thing it's all bullshit!

  • eh?

  • finally! ENDLICH!

  • This sham reached many areas - politics, education, agriculture, industrial, research, entertainment etc.

I don't blame those that believed in GW - what else would you think when you were consistently lied to on television, movies, in class etc.

But those that perpetrated this fraud should be prosecuted. Finally - the emperor has no clothes!!!!!!!

  • @Freenetnow beautiful reply!

How much has AL Gore and those that sell their sould to the devil made out of this fiasco!

  • @xyzto1 "soul" sorry

  • Beautiful! I kind of want to hug this chap.

  • Godfrey Bloom = Farken Legend

Remember Y2K Millenium Bug, same shit

  • thank you sir! 4 telling the truth !!

  • BobbyDurst,

    I agree!

  • This dude is the real deal.

  • Aussie here applauding you also Godfrey. Our Prime Minister and his lackeys should all be in prison with Al Gore. Also Guys, check out Lord Monckton interviewing a greenie on YouTube, just goes to show how stupid these sheeple can be.

  • Sir, this American thanks you.

  • Upright, bloody, bleeping hilarious and on the spot.

  • u.s.a. here saying Godfrey Bloom is my new hero also. so good to see someone speak the truth and calling these alarmists out for the crooks they really are - CHEERS TO YOU GODFREY FROM THE FREEZING COLD U.S.A. !!!

  • freezing in my ass, you pussy yankee.

  • Love it!!!

  • You GO Godfrey!! Tell these naive and mindless idiots.

  • From America, I applaud you

  • anAL GOREtentive

  • This guy is my new hero!

  • Brilliant

  • YES!

  • Finally someone with balls!

  • Don't tax the world! Tax the sun! It is emitting heat! Not as much as Al Gore's hot air propaganda spewing from his mouth. Cap and trade the sun and let the poor people in Africa industrialize. A solar panel cannot run a hospital.

  • ...and, that's a wrap folks!

  • Legend. Thank you.

  • YESSSS!!!!!!!!! GET EM!!!

  • How to fight tyranny. Time and time again boycotts result in nothing. Coca cola company most vulnerable to a boycott. Concentrate efforts instead of spreading the strength. Join the boycott make this grow. Then join Max Keiser's fund and make money as they are toppled. Need a good reason to boycott? Coke heavily endorsed Copenhagen, even making a website lovingly called Hopenhagen. Please make this effort grow to start having an effect and toppling some of the corporations that control us.

  • Spot on!

  • Finally !

  • so,...there r some brits with us...??? eh...?

  • wow. the truth spoken, who listened?

  • God bless him! A real man! There is still hope for this world to wake up.

  • How sweet it would be if Godrey, Nigel Farrage & Lord Monkton all 3 got together to create a plan to destroy that filthy power hungry thieving New World Order. I ain't your slave you tyrannts scum. Applause to Godffrey another one with courage to speak out against gutless dictators lies.

  • Great man.

  • God bless Mr. Bloom for exposing the great power grab.

  • good man. I will vote UKIP next time

  • watch?v=jtn3kks3H_o

  • try again please, it was a malformed ID

  • its about control. and one aspect of that control is moving production from Western Economies into China and other well-enslaved populations. any middle-classed, or anybody at all with wealth that doesn't work for them, is a threat to them and will be destroyed.

    SOUND THE ALARM!!!

  • Wow. Don't see him on mainstream tv.

  • He is spot on. I wish we had people like this in Denmark.

  • Short & Sweet...

  • most excellent.

  • The Swedish government is backing up the scam 100%

  • lol. it seems jeremy clarkson had good reason to dislike environMENTALISTS.

  • So to conclude, you really have to look at the common sense of it all. Its not that difficult, there are easy ways to fix the problems that are happening in this world right now. But some of these power hungry, over paid individuals will have to lose there jobs in power for it to happen. Thank you.

  • nice rant bro.

  • They played this off as a "save the American economy" plan. It was nothing of the sort. If they would've handed out that money to every legal citizen of the US, I think the calculation came out to $500,000 to each person, in each family. All that money would have went right back into banks, mortgages would have been paid off, and all the other frivolous BS that American sheeple would have bought. The American financial crisis would have been over in a week.

  • They're seeing a trend in the Earth's temperature and using it to their advantage. To convince the populous that you should pay a tax that will somehow save the planet. We are already an over taxed western society. That's brings me to point my father made a few month's back, about fixing the American economy. The trillions in bailout money that was dispersed out to a very select few like minded corporations, looking to seize control of all your "dollars", for the sake of greed and control.
