Nice to see so many views on this song, written by Lauri Say (my Dad) and his friend; it's worth pointing out to those who reckon this song should be used for Southern Vectis adverts, this song is written ironically-Southern Vectis actually invited him to do some stuff with them in the 60's, including singing this on the top deck of a SV bus while they filmed him. He once told me it was a great laugh, and he found the extent to which they missed the point hilarious. RIP Dad, Oct 8th,2010 X
hahaha..."you know there'll be another one tomorrow afternoon!" LOLOLOL...I grew up in Porchfield and my folks live in Shalfleet. I know the accuracy of that line! People where I live now don't believe me. Thanks for the chuckles. :))
it was only done for fun,for a Camera club competition several years ago,but I found it again so put it on youtube for a bit of fun.thanks for your comments
I only get the chance to ride the Southern Vectis buses a few times a year (i'm a frequent visitor to the island), but I have to say the vestic buses are much better than the ones in Brum!!
this is the only one I have done,it was made several years ago, just for a stills to video competition,at the Isle of Wight Video camera club,of which I am still a member,I found it in my cupboard and thought it might as well go on youtube, but I have done 1 other, of a similar style (Matchbox cars is another one I have done) when I can find it I will post it as well, on here Thanks for your comments

This is a classic - thanks for putting it on YouTube. If you have any more by Laurie Say and the Singing Islanders, please do put them on.
