this is exactly what the exhaust/header setup i want to do. I do have a quick question. Did GMMG chambered Exhaust setup come with a y-pipe? and do u have the option of catted or catless?

@02z28slp I dont think they came with a Y pipe option... There are lots of different Y pipe routs you could go... I did kooks catted. But its not hard finding catless ones. I just want to be as legal as possible. I get hassled a lot.

I see you installed the Kooks long tubes and catted Y pipe does this combo retain the egr and O2 sensors? I am looking to do this to my 2000 ws6 but to stay street legal I have to retain my emisions crap.

@500SWMAGOPERATOR nope all that has been removed. Just take out all your emissions, when you go to tune, you delet it all from the computer and your car still passes emissions. I never have a problem. I just did the catted Y pipe just incase anyone ever looks under the car. Not running CATS can get you in some big trouble.

@Trans22Am it's never been down a track.... i'm sure it runs high 11's in utah tho. It dyno's 431 to the wheels in utah, 450 in vegas.

If you read his show more he dint leave is HP numbers in the show more: based on my ls1 whitch videos comeing soon, I say you are makeing around 420 Rear wheel HP. I got an 383 ls1 with 250cc heads and a 230/237 cam pumping 450 rear wheel, if I had your fast intake an TB I whould make 500rwhp for sure!!(have stock ls6 intake and TB)

dont get me wrong 6-speed are bad ass, but my last car was a A4 with 350rwhp with a rebuilt tranny from level 10 and let me tell you when this slushbox shifted it was like dumbing the clutch fast and at high rpm in a 6-speed!! to problem with slushboxes is a few things one it has to be built right from a good tranny shop and reprogram the ecu because of covter. silpage!! I had both A4 and m6 my currant ss is a 6-speed,a4 are a pain in the ass but A4 can do anything m6 can do...

@MrMaverickz28 I had an auto and i never will have one again.... It's not as fun to drive in my opinion. I enjoy running through the gears. Plus 4.11's in a 4spd auto is worthless driving on the freeway. At 65 mph you're doing like 3000 RPM, I can cruise 80 MPH and be right at 2000 rpms. Which is why a 6spd is just the tits...

I agree on a4 not being as fun to drive.. just saying performace wise, there no diffencts(a4 are a bitch though 2 z28s with a4s) and my SS is an 6-speed with 4.10 an I am going with 3.73s cus I want more top end, I dont need the best 60' foot times I wanta go autoxing and road racing I belive 3.73s is perfect cus later I am going to rebuilt my 6-speed with diffent gear ratios

I agree on a4s not being as fun to drive I had 2 z28s with them..but just say performace wise theres no differace(but a4 are a pain in the ass) and my ss is an m6 with 4.11 and I am swaping it for 3.73s cus I want top end on my beast, I whould never put 4.11 on an a4 unless I was drag racing, whitch is fun but autoxing and road racing my style..

@fearls1 just do full bolt ons and tune. You will get some pretty crazy gains from it. but a mild cam, headers and tune for your daily driver isnt going to hurt anything. I know guys that have the same set up as mine and they daily drive them with no problems.

Hey buddy I'm actually buying that same set up wats your horsepower and torque you know. Cuz I'm looking to get the (from Texas speed performance) 227cc prc Cnc potted heads 70cc with .700 lift Saul spring and the 7.5" pushrods with rocker and ms4, y-pipe 4:11's stock rear and sus. and wat you have is basically the same thing so I was jus curious wat your #'s are?!!

@Eganslp im making 450 RWHP which is about 490 at the fly. i wouldnt keep your stock rear, it will disintegrate with that set up.
