If you notice the train with the big tanks are written "Guthrie". It still does some rubber business, but now its main business is palm oil. Rubber prices are not as high as they used to be, so its not as profitable as palm oil
Hi Michael, in fact the processing of latex has not changed much as far as harvesting and processing into sheet rubber. not sure about the factories though. Have not been into a rubber factory before.
