  • I never learned ''american english'' I learned UK english... .-. I hate that accent.. prefer the australian accent

  • And your accents are better how?

Jealous people, Just because we live in the best country!

  • I'm not american, english or aussie,

but of all those 3, Australian is my favorite accent.

  • @SaturnElena Your awesome!

  • aite guys whoever the FUCK ever so honestly and guiltlessly makes fun of the Aussie accent is a fuckin hater and has a lot to anger to expend. Aussie accent is the FUCKING best in the world. British accent against the Aussie, sounds like a bunch of slow and stoned motherfuckers, just to set that old shag straight.

  • @bazk124 They are just jealous!

  • Just 3 Australian accents??? Really? Have any of these people actually lived in Australia. Sydney has 3 accents alone and people from Melbourne talk differently and I'm sure Queensland has its own accent too.

  • @sissygamache And American accent? Really? That's far too general. Almost every state in the US has its own accent and several accents within those regions.

  • Haha - Queensland bogans!

  • Says something about the world when a five year old can nail a perfect american accent. I wonder how many american kids can do the same for a foreign accent?

  • I think the austrailans have a beautiful voice , I myself and American with southern accents . I hate the british because they are very arrogant !

  • vegemite = delicious

  • I'm English, myself, and I happen to think the Aussie accent is the best in the world. It can be wonderfully laid back, or incredibly smooth and refined (think 1940s American accents, but better). Geoffrey Rush is the perfect example of a great Australian accent. Listen to the man speak and then try and say the Australian accent isn't wonderful.

  • im aus... kinda offended :/

  • ok so here is my questions. on 3:32 - 4:12 which accent did sydney ppl use to speak english? HELP me i'm not aussie so i need to know how ppl in sydney usually speak english. which of that 3 accent they normally use?

  • Looking forward to my trip to Sydney in April ;)

  • Now I am really starting to notice when I say something in a broad accent...

  • The grass always looks greener on the other side doesn't it?

  • Excellent show - thanks for posting!

  • i love it when they say so its so funny!

  • those kids do not have a australian accent, thats just shouting.

  • I love the Aussie accent. The accent is very clean, that's what I like so much about it

  • good video.

  • haha,, Aussie accent is quite interesting..

  • LOL BATARDIES VERION OF THE QUEENS ENLISH XD

  • Aussies are certainly not losing their accent .... I agree we have always had the main three variations as the girl describes. What is funny is that many of my family on my mothers side have the broad Aussie accent and when I get around them I slip into a broader way of speech ... but usually I have the general accent. I think most Aussies are capable of modulating between the broad Aussie and the general ... without thinking too hard.

  • i love Dennis Scott 1:05

  • The best accent!!

  • it sounds like ask the bastard to pass the banana to me... lol

  • refined voice LOL

  • "Ask the bastard to pass the bananas!"

  • 2:05 3:00

    jiha

  • I agree, aussies are losing their accents.

  • John Clarke is a kiwi! Well, was a kiwi. He seems to be quite at place in Aussie now :(

  • @sunonthewindow I saw John Clarke in a very similar program about the New Zealand accent. That accent he uses actually seems to be the same one he had back in his days playing the NZ character Fred Dag in the 1970s in b&w clips I have seen of it. Either way he is extra funny and perfect choice to do this show, NZer or not!

  • lol @ 1:06

  • Its uh, over ah

Just think "Uh" , americans say "AH"

  • fine accent ! be proud of it : it's part of your history!

  • 'taking the piss'....this takes the cake! LMAO!

  • 'sound like ducks talking'...lol!

  • australian accents are cute as hell on girls. as much as australians don't wanna hear it, though, it does sound somewhat english. and if any australians think their accent is bad if it makes you feel any better we got accents here in the states that are 10 times worse. some british accents are really annoying too. watch jeremy kyle and you'll see what i mean.

  • I luv Australian accent lol

  • John Clarke must have the driest sense of humor on earth ... I can watch this over and over!

  • I think older people's accent is a lot closer to the british than the younger generation which are definitely becoming very americanised.

  • i've been looking for this show on youtube for AGES thanks for uploading it!

  • hi I am spanish speaker and I went to study to Aus..for me at the beginning it was a little bit confused to understand them because I learnt American English.

    Austalia Rocks :)

  • @85Aheadstix hi oh really? for me British is easy to understand and then Aussie.. but american mmm is kind of complicated. in my country Colombia only teach american ( too sad)...and I agree with you cheers.

  • @lillygmail Yup, sad for you.

  • I'm actually having a problem with Australian accents, but hopefully I can be a duck soon!

anyway this video is so interesting!!

  • Nice accents!!
