And to me socialism isn't that bad of an idea either. The problem is the fact that, throughout history, socialist regimes have always had a dictator, which negates the whole point of the complete equality of socialism. Whether it be the Soviet Union, the other Communist Asian nations, or the socialist societies in Latin America, a dictator always rises and ruins the opportunity of socialist societies to be truly equal.

@mauranius Yeah, I used to use the same reasoning, but then I thought about how authoritarian socialism completely defeats the purpose of socialism. If your society needs a dictator to ensure equality amongst everyone, then it's not an equal society. Everyone is supposed to have equal authority in a socialist society, but it's absolutely impossible to have equal authority if someone has the ultimate authority. The only viable form of socialism is libertarian socialism.

What happens is that there is certain medication that will only go to certain hospitals based on how much they need it and based on their budget. The medication in question will not be life-saving, it will usually be something to increase the life of the terminally ill for a few months. Anyway, at least here, you can get treated at ANY hospital, not like in the USA where hospitals get sued for treating certain people!
