@MrHawaiibound Yeah...I think, only the SI look very nice, but the basic civic is ugly. I see a White Civic SI few weeks ago and I can tell The SI is a very nice looking car!
Ah, they should of ran with the concepts sedan styling, although not totally different, the lines are even better. The design they decided to come out with makes the car look "old"
also, there will no longer be an Exhaust VTEC on the 9th gen civic si.
This will make tuning with flashpro (if it ever comes out for 9th gen) somewhat difficult. VTEC will still remain on the intake side of the engine, and will now occur at 4300rpm. Adding the lower VTEC window and greater torque should make acceleration much better than stock 8th gen SI's. The 9th gen will also get a higher resolution ECU, which will monitor sensor data and make appropriate changes much more quickly

the motor will actaully be a 2.4 liter, 4-cylinder, k24z7 engine.
Redline will be brought down to 7000rpm
Interior:
new display (iMID), VTEC indicator LEDs, better visibilitycheaper materials, no sliding arm rest, fewer cubbies to store stuff
Upgrades?
Aftermarket headers will be impossible/difficult to add due to the fact that the OEM header will be "fully-integrated" and cast into the engine's cylinder head.
honestly it doesnt look too dif from the body style thats currently out, a few minor details here nd there. taillights being the biggest change. I like the way my si looks right now with the hfp ground effects. the only good thing bout the new one ill be lookin forward to is the new motor in the si's putting out 170 lbs of torque (huge improvement over current k20 in them). my question is being as its almost identical if i could swap out my current performance upgrades to this new model
@arcostiann yes they confirmed a new engine, i cant remember if its a new version of the k20 or if they are using a k24 but i do remember the power ratings, which was 200 hp with 170 lb tq. i kinda wish they'd throw in the new turboed k23 thats in the rdx pushing out 240 hp with 260 lb tq
This one look way better that the coupe,
but still FF sucks!
