It's true that there seemed to be something magic about the original cast and after the last of them left the show was never the same.

@CassandraTroy , I agree the original Cast had not only talent but that special magic and once they left the show it was never the Same. The show was not only good but it jump started several careers 4 of the 5 the original Cast, Stacy Ferguson, Renee Sands , Martika , Rahsaan Patterson all had success once they left Kids Inc.

I watched this show everyday re rerun after rerun after rerun along with MMC. There will never be a show like either one of these again!! would love to have this and MMC as boxed set seasons!!!

wow 9 years of the show, I am hearing rumors that this might come back on the air as a new show & on a network like ABC or Nick as a new weekly seires.  The plot is a new owner of the Place get a visit form 1 person that came to the place when he was young & was a member of the group 7 told the new owner about the history & he found out it was true, & does everything to bring it back to the Place of old. Insted of a new malt shop.

Ryan and Kenny stayed on Kids Inc way too long..Ryan should have left the same time as Kid and Renee and Kenny should of left after completing season 1991. They look like they should be in college

It was a good thing that they held onto Ryan, Stacy, Rahsaan and Renee for as long as they did, especially since Martika was much-missed after her departure. The series was able to produce several great seasons before the original kids had to be jettisoned. The later kids just couldn't fill the void. Anastasia Horne was the lone stand-out among the new cast.

No doubt about it Kids Inc 1984 thru 1988 were the best seasons far as cast and the intro music. I wish Disney would get Kids Inc on DVD, they are as bad on getting this on DVD as they are on getting the "New Mickey Mouse Club" (1977) on DVD...Disney Wake up and get them on DVD!!!
