How did you manage to extract those files directly from the game?

@Potew I didn't extract them myself since it's a painful process, but I converted the miniUSF (N64 music format) files I got elsewhere into MP3 with a plugin, then made those into a video and uploaded that. I think it was in_cube.dll (could've been vgmstream though)

@Potew Google "USF FAQ", check the hcs64 link and CTRL+F "Q: How can I rip USFs?"

Long story short, don't bother if you're not very technical. It requires Assembly language (MIPS in specific) knowledge. I'm a programmer and I don't really understand assembly too well, gives me a headache.

i always made sure mario's equiped with Zap Tap since that will prevent the 2nd big hit with some of The masters' attacks, and the chill out Star power 2 weaken him & good healing items (but not the best ones like ones that restores 40 HP/FP or more), using those tactics i never needed the stone cap or invisibility, at first i did use them till i found out that equipping Zap Tap can negate certain attacks

C'mon, this guy IS really challenging, but it doesn't mean he is impossible to defeat. You need to select the correct badges, espically the Defense Up ones, because if you put too much HP, the damage will be the same like always. And it's important to stock up on Life Shrooms, Super/Ultra Shrooms, and some Syrup.

I found the Master less difficult to fight when I neglected my HP and raised only my FP and BP. Of course this meant I could use powerful moves like Super Jump Charge a few times and then doing a Mega Jump.

Phazon, how do you convert the sound files when you rip them from the game? are they already a sound file format?

@G33KN3rd They are, but they're in a 'format' that most programs 'don't understand'.

You see, music is just data, like pictures and text. What a computer does with it is up to it, but if you want to get something useful out of it, you need to use it a certain way.

The N64 uses something like MIDI music and it's not anything like 'normal' MIDIs.

Thankfully, someone had already done the hard work and had written a plugin for me (64th note, I think) to convert them to whatever format I wanted.

Glass cannon maybe not. Unless you go with lucky day, pretty lucky, and close call badges. Even then it's still a chance battle. But possible if you can pull a high enough power bounce.

Also a battle like this in Paper Mario TTYD would be an excellent test for danger mario build.

best wat to beat actually is chill out cloud 9 and heal and you'll beat him in about 5 minutes trust me i did it with only 40 hp and 35 fp and i kicked his ass he only did like 20 damage at most but i kicked his ass
