He told David Wild at Rolling Stone: "On Saturday nights when they go out, the guys all get their girl; the guys without girls get a bottle of Cracklin' Rosie, that's their girl for the weekend."
Went to see him in Ottawa last year, and it's probably one of the best concerts I've ever seen (behind AC/DC!!). We had free tickets BEHIND the stage, but he kept walking around to sing to those in the cheap seats, even quipping that he wouldn't want "those ones". Great guy. Great fun. Great songs. Great artist.
When I was about 10 years old, I used to hear this song when we were swimming in my friend's pool, her mother was a big fan and I have been for at least 20 years now. He never gets old!!
Looking at earlier videos of neil how did he get so damn sexy in the space of about a year (the years being 1970-71 I think you will find) He was always very nice to look at but blimey look at him here! What happened?
Good singer is a good one live and Neil sounds just like his recordings. I hate that today alot of singers dont even sound like there recording when they are live. They dont even have to sound the same but when they sing they sound like crap.
