I've been wanting to see a sparring between a Systema guy and someone else in a "real world" like way. I've seen some people work with weapons VERY fast, and I just can't imagine how it would be possible to move around them. I think there are two possible options in such cases: run away or die :)

Excellent work. No mather if you have seen mr. Vasiliev a thousand times at work, you always want to see him at work again and again. Cause even after 32 years of martial arts experience I always seem to see something new in what he's doing. An excellent master with unbelievable skills and insights. I had the honor to work with a lot of legendary masters from all around the world on all kinds of martial arts, but until this very day mr. Vasiliev always stays my most favorite instructor of all.

The other guy is also very soft and he moves quite well against Vladimir's attacks. It's difficult to show the effectiveness of systema on an experienced partner who is as soft as this guy.

It would be interesting to see Vladimir work with a non-systema martial artist or an average guy with no experience in systema. What do you think?

@smrki1 I think that a non-systema partner would probably tense up much faster and lose the knife easier. Here we don't see a lot of "resistance" on the guy's part, he just flows with Vladimir's movements. I have noticed that when two experienced systema practitioners work with each other, it tends to look like a dance. But when one of them is new to systema, then the demonstration looks visually different.

@Aliyout1234 I agree, the attacker doesn't act like in a real situation, Vladimir disarms are still great but the other guy ruins it all.
