They alternated between industrial-esque antics (bondage/technology) and rock your balls out metal... and running into the crowd with a chainsaw...

I'm told it's really "GAY", but seeing as how Japanese don't really use Y as in I, it was a typo of sorts. Many Japanese bands have strange typos here and there. Again, don't quote me on that since GISM has been said to mean other things.
