i would recommend softer mallets and roll slower so that the sound of the marimba comes out. Is the music that you have a variation from the older because it sounds different. And try to be more expressive in the music. and cool grip i want to learn that!
i like seeing someone else use the traditional grip for once, but you do seem a bit inexperienced with it. work on your technique and it will make the sound quality better. use softer mallets, and express it more, there are a few dynamics written in, but make some of your own phrasing as well, in the roll section as well as the fast parts.

Watch out on some of the rolls, they're marked sfz. make sure after the initial accent you get down enough to really build it back up.
