By joining the MP, ROCA will fell under a whole series of fearsome anathemas: the anathemas against the heretics of the WCC, including ROCOR's own anathema of 1983; the anathemas against Bolshevism and those who cooperate with it, the anathema against renovationism, the anathemas of the Catacomb Church against the Sergianists; and the anathema against those who "forsake the martyrs of Christ, and turn to false martyrs".
Remember leaders of different Christian sects, the will of God is undivided Christianity. Give up your churches, no more Catholic, Protestants, Adventist, JW etc. If you think that I am wrong then prove that you are right. Ive asked the Lord for the two simultaneous explosion of volcano in the U.S. within this month of December, pray that it wouldnt happen, if despite of your prayer it does happen, then know that God is with me therefore you have to listen to me.
@Y0utube2oo8 OK Russia smells like shit, no broblem, what would you think would smell like when I put a AK-47 in your fucking mouth, and really not shoot, just see your shit come out of your asshole, I'm in Chicago and really know where you are at, idiot.
1. Well, it's hard to explain. The Catholic Church and the Orthodox church used to be one. Before the great schism in the 11th century, the one Christian Church (as founded by Jesus Christ himself) was "One Holy Orthodox Catholic Church." There were large congregations of this church in places such as Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem. Each place had a bishop, as a leader, who was given a special title, such as Pope, Patriarch, Archbishop or Metropolitan...
2. As you know, the bishop of Rome was and is called "Pope." All the bishops were/are equal, and could not interfere with the jurisdiction of another bishop unless it was determined by a council of bishops that he had fallen into heresy. In the 11th century, a schism occurred, because the Western church was promulgating some theological issues which were never and still are not accepted by the Eastern Church. One of these issues was that Rome claimed their Pope to be infallible...
3. They also claimed universal jurisdiction for their Pope. This, of course, is impossible. Only the Lord Jesus Christ Himself was perfect and infallible. The bishops of all the churches were/are human beings like the rest of us. And in fact, they are to be humble and consider themselves as lowly, not put themselves on a pedestal and claim infallibility and universal jurisdiction.
So, you see, there is is more than one "pope" or Metropolitan, or whatever title fits...
Canon 3 of the 7th Ecumenical council forbids the appointments of bishops by the civil authorities. And the same canon condemns those in communion with such an entity. The MP is in violation of this canon, as are those in communion with it.
i believe that Vladyka Laurus work on earth was finished and culminated through his signing the reunification of the russian church all over the world and brings the Orthodox closer to one another.
he will be missed by many grateful Orthodox faithful who loved him.
He was a wonderful and sweet man. I had the blessing of being able to meet and speak with him once, I remember he patted me on the cheek. Memory Eternal!
He was a good simple man, committed to those closest to him, honorable to the Russian cause, and personally kind to me on many occaisions. He appeared in a dream to me soon after his death. I had not heard of his passing, but was thinking of him for some reason. The message was brotherly and strange. May God grant him eternal and blessed repose in Christ.
There are no words for how badly we will miss him, and how deep the sense of loss here in Jordanville is. Vechnaya pamyat Vladika, we will never forget all you have done for us and the love you showed us.

Laurus sued the convent on Moss Island for their property because the latter refused to join him with the MP. Some Christian Laurus was.
