This car has now run 8.74@168.5mph at the same track. I launched the car like a little girl for pastime, I was afraid of braking a axle. 2000rpm launch VS a 6000 rpm launch. I now have some real axles in the car that I cant seem to brake.

This car has gone 8.81@166mph and did it at 3600ft, the worlds fastest stick shift (like this car) supra runs 8.75@165mph and does it at see level. It's the Boost Logic supra you can see the info on it on there web page, it too is a bad ass car.

I just saw this car on pass time and one guy said 13.XX, one guy said 12.XX, and the woman won with a time of 10.6X. It ran a 9.60 and they had no idea it would be that fast.... Very nice car!

IPS motorsports could EASILY build an 8 sec 3S. with that single turbo kit of theirs... IMO i think it'll be 3sx ;)... keep up the great work DR im glad the 3000gt is making the comeback it deserves!
Bold Statement, the best pass IPS has managed with there GT-42 single turbo kit is a 10.7 in 4 yrs of running it, that's a long way from 8's. As for 3sx thy spent a yr going to the track ever week trying to brake there own best time of 9.21 and never did. DR was 1st to get into the 10's with out using NOS to do it, First to get into the 9's in any 3/s car, and will most likely be the 1st to get into the 8's. And as always thy are all throttle no bottle.

This car has gone 8.81@166mph and did it at 3600ft, the worlds fastest stick shift (like this car) supra runs 8.75@165mph and does it at see level. It's the Boost Logic supra you can see the info on it on there web page, it too is a bad ass car.

Maybe if your driver learned how to launch and you got some better slicks and did a burnout then the car may actually hook off the line.

I just saw this car on pass time and one guy said 13.XX, one guy said 12.XX, and the woman won with a time of 10.6X. It ran a 9.60 and they had no idea it would be that fast.... Very nice car!

that thing is such a beast out of the hole. i wish mitsubishi would bring back the vr4, or at least make a new v6 or higher powered awd car that looks as good. too bad they r too caught up in the 4banger game with the evo to want to do that.

IPS motorsports could EASILY build an 8 sec 3S. with that single turbo kit of theirs... IMO i think it'll be 3sx ;)... keep up the great work DR im glad the 3000gt is making the comeback it deserves!

Bold Statement, the best pass IPS has managed with there GT-42 single turbo kit is a 10.7 in 4 yrs of running it, that's a long way from 8's. As for 3sx thy spent a yr going to the track ever week trying to brake there own best time of 9.21 and never did. DR was 1st to get into the 10's with out using NOS to do it, First to get into the 9's in any 3/s car, and will most likely be the 1st to get into the 8's. And as always thy are all throttle no bottle.

Nevermind. Its a stroked engine. 3.54L according to DR site. look at this mods now:

whos going to break 8's first? dynamic racing or 3sx? hmm tough question, could be either or. I didnt even know about this time till now. Been looking at 3SX more then anything. Excellent run matt. I know that 9.72 run was on stock short block. Anyone knows the mod on this one? engine wise? I'll call him later after christmas to see whats up. I sometimes talk to 3sx and dyanamic anyways to see whats stirring up.

I sold the Lotus, Traded the Busa for a 5 wheel camper, and my mom lives in FL and drives a altima.
